Hoe Hill is a stunning small nature reserve along the River Ant under the management of the Broads Authority. My short walk visits several mills along the River Ant before entering the reserve and spotting much of the lovely wildlife that calls this place home.

Thanks Joe! I love that environment of marsh, woodlands, and trail. And you bring us so close together in it!

How lovely. I have just returned home this evening after a fortnight on the Broads. Am already having withdrawal symptoms. 😢 By the way, we heard bitterns and cuckoos from just about every place that we moored up.

Really enjoyed the relaxing walk today. I think the ponies were wild konik ponies - they have them at Wicken Fen too.

Yes they are really good for helping biodiversity. Lots of the Wildlife Trusts and National Trust have them
