All the Hype was being pointed out by stories of other monks, as for Norio, he tells Jin, the truth of how the Guardian is still mere man, of how the stories of his great victories did not include the gruesome fighting, the loss, the sacrifice, the fear. This was true, and a massive foreshadow to what has happened to his brother.

Now that we know these major characters, i think the point of the entire story of the Ghost of Tsushima is that the world changes and when it does; we can't cling onto the past or hold onto grudges forever, because although Shimura is right on a few things, his stubbornness towards his honor is what killed him (or at the very least defeated him) and only in using Deception, Trickery and Intimidation the Mongols can be pushed away. Norio the Warrior Monk is what could be a possible path of taking on the Mongols, A fighter that can keep a level head; and although Norio did lash out in anger, don't forget that it is better to move forward and learn from it rather than start wallowing in remorse.

By far Masako's story was the most compelling to me. Especially the mission where her and Jin had to retrieve her son's bodies to burry them. Emphasised with Jin loosing his parents, both share a bitter bond, which is unique in my opinion.

I did a little too. But I think the mission where you find his brother was one of the most shocking moments in gaming I’ve ever had. The pure agony he was in, but he stayed in it to see his brother. I think we all could related to his love to fight the pain to see his brother one last time. Even if the missions were a little boring sometimes, I think he has one of the best tales a side mission has ever had. I’ll remember seeing his brother in the temple forever. It was horrific.

They definitely could've downsized his missions because by the time of his introduction, you already have enough to do as is and although the character himself is likable and even similar to Jin in a few ways it's not enough to warrant the length. Instead of 9, I think 4-6 would've been more than enough

I don't like Norio. Every time he speaks, it's all Enjo, Enjo, Enjo. Got annoying real fast. He's also on the verge of tears all the time. And he s*ks at fighting. This guy is a warrior monk??
