This is supposed to be the "definitive Polish joke": A traveling salesman is in a strange town and goes to a local neighborhood bar at the end of a hard day to relax. The bar is full of people and there is just one empty stool at the middle of the bar and he sits down. He's a friendly guy, being a salesman, and after ordering a beer, says in a loud voice "Hey everybody, I heard this really good Polish joke." Suddenly the room goes dead silent. The guy looks at the bartender and asks what happened. The bartender says, "Look fella. This bar is in a Polish neighborhood. All the patrons here are Polish. The bouncer by the door, the one seven foot tall not counting his head, he's Polish. And I own this establishment and I'm Polish. So you'd better consider all that before you tell your damn Polish joke." The salesman looks around at everybody and says, "I'm sorry. I didn't know. I'll tell it real slow."

If I ordered sausage, would you say I was from Poland?’ The man behind the counter says, ‘Well, I can’t say. It’s never happened.’ The customer asks, ‘Then how come when I come in here and order an RC Cola and a MoonPie, you just automatically assume I’m from Alabama?’ The man behind the counter calmly replies, ‘’Cause this is a hardware store.’”

But you’ll never be liked as much as a fellow norwegian person because norwegian people will always believe that they are better than other countries. (They are arrogant, but don’t show it as much as for ex. French people. Of course this doesn’t apply to everybody) Ps. A Polish guy immigrates to the US and goes to apply for his drivers license. They tell him he has to do an eye exam and ask him to read the chart. On the chart are the letters Z A W A D Z K I. They ask him if he can see the letters and read them. He replies " Read them! I know the guy"

Reminds me of the Polish airline captain taxiing onto the runway for takeoff? The Captain turns to his First Officer and asks the younger man, are you ready for takeoff? The younger co-pilot has a bewildered look on his face and states, "Captain: this runway is not very long"? The Captain replies, "but it sure is wide"!

If you haven’t read Norm’s “Based on a True Story” book, you must do so. Not only is it the funniest book I’ve ever read, but I found myself wondering just how much of it was actually true. Could be 10%; could be 90%. (I’d guess it’s closer to 10…) But that’s part of Norm’s genius.

The Polish people happen to be THE most admirable people on the planet. (Nope, I'm not Polish.) They willingly fought every tyrant and invader when they were called upon, often for the benefit of other peoples: against the Turks at Vienna, against the Mongols, against the Nazis, they led the resistance against the Soviet Union under communism, and they were among the few European nations to join the Coalition of the Willing in the lead up to the Iraq War.

Oskaregg, Yes all immigrants at one time had problems with foreign languages, so what? The PEAK of "Polish jokes" in America was in the 1960s/70's....when most Polish Americans spoke fluent English and on average made more money than most Americans. So HOW does that make them "dumb"....as NBC-TV says???? SO WHY was the 1960's/70's the PEAK TIME of "Polish jokes" in America? It was because NBC-TV was bashing the hell out of Poles on NATIONAL TV to MILLIONS of Americans! WHY did Anti-Christian Leftist NBC-TV do this? Because NBC-TV HATES Poland for being the MOST CHRISTIAN nation and most Red Pilled nation in the world and being against the Leftist propaganda NBC-TV spews. NBC-TV HATES Poland because Poland is PROUD of being a WHITE CHRISTIAN nation like in these KZbin videos "Polish people say, WE WANT GOD/Jesus! - Polish march for Independence Nov 11, 2017" and "The MOST Red Pilled nation is Poland - Despite Leftist objections, Polish TV network tells the truth". Today, perverted Leftist NBC-TV is doing the same thing with President Trump. NBC-TV keeps BASHING Trump as being "dumb" because Trump can see through the Leftist media's Lies and Trump is the most Red Pilled president we have. As for me, I was born in America. I am a Polish American.
