What a sad life she had: every man treated her like crap she felt nobody really loved her. She was looking for "DADDY" all her life. Poor Norma Jean/Marilyn.

I'm confused... I can't find parts 4 and 5 so I went to find a full version of this movie, and the second half of this clip seems to have been cut out of all full versions. What's up with that? Her whole time being fostered with this creep must have been edited out...?

Honestly, I think they should cast Angelina Jolie as Marylin Monroe. I saw her in GIA as well as Girl, Interrupted. Angelina is already really pretty, and I think she has a lot of sass.
@mindysmith58257 жыл бұрын
I disagree...Angelina's lips are too big, she is too tall, and doesn't have the right look to play Marilyn. She is very pretty but not in the way that Marilyn was. But I agree that she was awesome in both "Gia" and "Girl, Interrupted". Marilyn had a soft girly way about her. I don't see that vulnerability or sweetness in Angelina...she has more of a tough "bad-ass" image.

I do enjoy this movie, but what I don't understand is that when she was Norma Jean, she was this determined, defiant, badass, abs after the plastic surgery she suddenly became weak willed, and co dependent.

My interpretation of the film was that Marilyn had multiple personalities. And I also thought that Norma Jean, played by Judd, was not the first, original personality, but that the little girl or the teenage girl was the real personality. The innocent who was abused and thus broken. This is where the adult Norma Jean came into being, who became demanding, conscious, violent and willful. And Marilyn is already a third personality, which was created when she transformed her appearance and thus there was another break in her personality.

Here Grace and Gladys seems 2 old granny ladies But in fact they had near 40 years old when norma-jean was 8 years See pictures of Gladys and Grace during 1935 1937 Grace was False Blond not a Granny with grey Hair Its bothered me when filmmakers change the History. And in the First part they didnt speake about norma-jean and James Doherty marriage. Why ??? I Heard That norma-jean Baker had a crush for a classmate at school When she was 14 years old. He was her First love .

was her real father ever interviewed ? im pretty sure the press was at some point after him
@mindysmith58257 жыл бұрын
@donnyosmondfan...the real identity of her father still remains unknown. Most people believe it was Charles Stanley Gifford, but he never came forward to claim her as his daughter. There was a story that while she was married to Jim Dougherty (her first husband) she tried to call Gifford, whom she believed to be her father, and he hung up on her. Gladys, Marilyn's mother, was somewhat promiscuous as a young woman so the paternity was never established.

I agree. I think every movie about her is for the most part false. Even Blonde was false. Anything to add drama to the situation.
