You really REALLY saved me! I couldn't understand where to put the led. Looks so simple but tricky when you don't understand how to connect a circuit!

thank you for ur demonstration, but why do u put a resistor on the positive side , shouldn't they be on the negative for the electricity flow ?.

Can you make a led light turn off when the button is pushed and the led turn on when the button is off?? (Without logic gates)
@Electronzap
@Electronzap 6 жыл бұрын
There's switches that are normally off and turn on when you press them, called normally closed. I don't have any though. All mine are normally open.

Does the pushbutton have memory to keep the light on with out having to holdthe button down?
@Electronzap

I'm sure you can find some that will switch on/off each time you press the button, but all the ones I have are only on while you hold the button.

Hello, i recreated the circuit demonstrated in your video. The first time round, it worked as expected, however when i recreated it again and again, my LEDs keep blowing out every time i push the switch, why is this? I'm reacreating the circuit the exact same way each time. BTW i'm using a 470Ω resistor
@Electronzap
@Electronzap 6 жыл бұрын
Sounds like there's a short somewhere bypassing the resistor. Or a lot more than 9V is being used to power it.

@Electronzap

You have to get a switch that works that way. Like a single pole single throw switch or special pushbutton switches. Tons of switch options out there. I use only these for my videos because they fit on a breadboard easily and come with almost every electronics kit I look at.
