My brother Bryan was not what I'd call a hard man, but I've seen him sort a few people out that deserved it. He looked like you but with a bit more hair. He was able to sort a lot of problems out just by the way he looked. He died from complications of a brain tumor. He lived like a man and died like a man. A blood clot settled on his main artery and his legs went. He dragged himself to his phone and called me. He then dragged himself to his dog and locked it in a bedroom so it wouldn't be shot by the police if I didn't get there first. By then another clot settled and he lost his left arm. He still managed to drag himself to the front door and unlock it for the ambulance. I got there just before the ambulance. He'd cut his head and elbow when he went down. There was blood all over the floor. His last words before they put him in the ambulance for his final journey was make sure my dog is all right. I've seen a few of your videos of the hard men you've known. My little brother was the hardest man I've ever known personally. Thanks. I enjoy your videos.

Love Norman's stories, I can totally relate to the one about a bursting appendix. It happened to me when my old thai boxing coach threw a knee to the left side of my stomach, the shockwave travelled across and burst my appendix on the right hand side. I passed out from the pain and nearly died 2 days later from sepsis. It was no joke!

Love the way you bring the good side of these hard Men out,they fought other hard lads up for it,love the old stories,old ppl are living History,my grandfather started telling me a story once about his time as rearend gunner in Lancaster in the pub having a quiet bevy,i never knew he served in WW2,that's why i think back in 50's/60's the gangs started up England,ppl back from the war, ordinary life was boring,old buddies got together to do jobs,they had the skills and discipline and loads of bottle.

Matt is the hands down the most tuff man I’ve ever met but equally the biggest gentleman I’ve met, seen first hand guys bump into him on nights out and spill his drink all over him, but would still offer them one back knowing it wasn’t his fault, could of quite easily put it on them but was humble, love reading these positive comments! He’s one of the most tuff men in London but is so well liked and respected not because of his ferociousness but mostly because of his personality and character of being a nice humble man, think his channel is brilliant for showing proper tuff man have great personalities, and he hates bullies so is great karma for those types ! Proud to say he’s my mate, inspiring to many in mk and done so much for charity’s also ! Keep it up brother 😎🤜🏻

I remember Billy from in the 80’s when I was only a teenager. He served time with my dad and met him at my Dads flat in St Helen’s when they both got out. Very unassuming but my dad told me he thought like a street dog. Eyes, mouth, nose, throat, the lot. Never heard my old fella speak highly of many a man but he respected Billy. Said he was fearless. Good to hear Norman and quality content as per norm Matt 👌

I've read Norman's book, really enjoyed it, but like Steve said, definitely think a lot more of him from watching your interviews with him Matt. What a top bloke he is. Though it sometimes appears easier to get blood out of a stone, than a direct answer to your question, which is quite comical.

Top video Matt. What I like about Norman is that even though he is talking about violent incidents, he is almost apologising for that side of himself in the same breath. A proper fighter, with a gentleman's attitude. The way he barged into you, catching you unawares, was hilarious. It was like the sort of thing brothers do to each other for a laugh. Matt it’s lovely how you handle Norman. You allow him to tell his stories and ask the right questions at the right time whilst respecting the man’s dignity. Normans such a nice man and a legend but he never slags anyone off. You know Matt they say that the art of great conversation is the ability to listen whilst throwing in the odd question to keep the conversation going. Wow Norman you are probably talking about my very good late friend John Macphee the other brother huge monutain with a big beard and the room shook when his voice bellowed He, was my very close friend in the last 3-4 years of his life seen him most days, He was a well feared man by all been in and out of prison, faught everyone was fearless even came up against some of the Quality street gang, he was fearered,, even became a mercinary in Croatia has a book out about this, The man seriously had a heart of gold was a true protector. He played in some of the scotish battle reconstrucions as he was a huge man mountain and was actual related to one of the ancient clans so fit right in.. The stories he would tell were engrossing you couldnt turn away but this was his actual life. I miss that man.. I have bits of Johns new book he was writting before he died he gave me and another one of his friends photo copies of loads of the bits that were to be in the new book, maybe you could do something with them? (god rest his soul) John passed away 3 years ago, I am still best good friends with his eldest son Armane.. Yes Billy, Alex and John MacPhee and they have a sister too.. I think there may only be one of the brothers still alive. If you need to get intouch with them, get back to me and I will arange it..
