Norman's Cay Exumas Bahamas: The Secrets of Norman's Cay Island. Is trespassing a crime if you don’t get caught? We didn’t think so either. Besides, it was only a construction site, and we didn’t do any damage. The goal of this mini crime spree: explore Norman’s Cay, an island with a truly illicit history of drug smuggling during the 1980s. Now Norman's Cay is a tropical paradise with pristine white sand beaches that are almost deserted and an updated marina with room for all types of boats large and small.
There is nothing unlawful about Iguanas, they are native to Norman's Cay Island Bahamas and on some islands endangered. We hoped we would get to see some in the Exuma Cays, The Bahamas. There are several islands where if you’re lucky, the iguanas will leave their hideouts and venture down to the beach. We weren’t so lucky. The iguanas made us work to find them.

Thanks so much for the kind words! Yes, we have a cover but it was purchased before the davits and won’t work with the dingy in the air, it only works with the boat in the water. We used it to keep the rain from filling up the boat when we’d leave it down which nowadays is never. On our list to buy (along with a million other things) is a cover that has slits for the davit pulley lines to pass through. The dingy takes a real beating hanging behind the boat in the sun 🌞
