Another great video Dude! Totally agree re jet skis. The other disaster waiting to happen is the electric scooters. I trust all the medical appointments work out well. Good on you for keeping up with the regular check ups. Not always easy when cruising.

But that is a good thing about the gold coast. I love the idea of combining boating adventures with public transport and not having to rely on someone to come pick me up. The christmas b4 last I put the boat in at Southpore and anchored in the Nerang River. I took the ute and trailer back to Clontarf, then got the Bus, train and tram back to the boat. My daughter and I spent the next few days sailing bacl to Clontarf.

Hey mate I avoid paradise point now because we have the problem every time we go there , in the dark we have tinny rats , jet skis and ski boats come through there at speeds sometimes around 60mph , no nav lights , it’s just not worth the stress so we avoid it now

I haven't done anything, but they are doing the same thing all over the Broadwater. If someone gets their registration to confirm, I will put in a Marine Incident Report. That sort of behaviour is rubbish.

I filled out a marine incident report up the tweed river norm only a few months back , because less than 5000 dollars worth of damage was done no action could be taken , the person was a dive charter boat with more complaints than you could poke a stick at and nothing could be done , i spent 40 mins on the phone with local authorities and other marine charter companies , police could do nothing because boat is registered in Queensland , it’s all just a joke that’s why they do it , on the plus side I know who he is and where he is .

Its not just jet skiers! Its rich idiots on multi million doller power boats that fly past you within m at 20 knots, throwing up a massive wake, turning a tranqual calm beach into a surf beach, throwing your 18ft trailer sailer up on the beach as well. I dont think it is jet skiers. I think it is just " The Gold Coast" I think the madness on Sydney Harvour is a lot more organised than the Gold Coast!

Hello Lord Dude. I have tae agree with you about those bloody Jet Skis. I'd be more than happy to sign your petition if you feel inclined to make one. Those young PRATTS who who think they are bullet proof are going to learn a lesson one day but then it would be too late. We have had a few killed down this way riding those infernal machines. I reckon that they should increase the age of licensing those damn things; commencing at the age of 30 years. I had an altercation with one of the idiots riding a jet ski, except he came off second best. Mate; I loved that rainy weather. It was bonnie looking at the hail and rain coming down. I am afraid, we have had BUGGER ALL down here. Good news about your medical results "Old" chap. Keep safe and lets see a few more posts. Take care.
