It was SO worth the wait. Normani is such an incredible artist. I truly enjoyed learning about her when listening to her album. I didn't have any expectations other than knowing that she had been working on this for a while and went through a lot during the process. I truly enjoy almost every song (aside from Take My Time, Big Boy & Little Secrets that are still great but not my taste). She sounds unique. There's nothing that sounds like this out there. It totally shows how much work has been put in this project. This is my favorite album this year by far. I love her mellow energy but I love to experience her more exhuberant side as well. I can tell there are so many layers to Normani. I love her energy and the energy of the album. It truly tells a story, like you can listen to the album from top to bottom and it's a whole movie. It must've been so confronting to go through what she went through during the process. Normani is an outstanding performer. I feel like I know her sound and flavor with this album. I love her transparency, how soft she is. People who think she's boring are surface level, sorry not sorry. You can't appreciate good wine even when presented with the best bottle. Anyway, that analogy sucked but truly, sincerely, this is such an amazing album. She's just amazing and I just am so obsessed with her. She seems at peace and happy. Thank you for everything, Normani. I appreciate the work and details that went into creating this album. I relate to Normani so much, even with the things she mentions about herself. She's a star. She's everything. She's so deep and well-expressed, and she's also ruthless and a rocket! She's so fun and fresh. Just loveeeee her. Even with the album cover, that was so clever. Everything just works together. She's soft and hard at the same time. She's everything. Bravo! I hope she comes to Montréal on tour.
