I think the problem might be whoever she is signed to. It’s been too many years for the music to only be coming out now. Either they rejected her songs a bunch of times or their marketing team decided her music wasn’t marketable. Someone of her caliber should have been able to put out her album ages ago, but I’m sure it’s the record label stopping her and not giving her any promotion whatsoever.

The promo is staggered, but it's gradually coming along: everything from "Candy Paint" playing in the background, to them mentioning her role in Freaky Tales (wished she'd bait the interviewers a bit more tbh), and even her tone. I've also noticed that's she's seemingly less in her head, than in previous interviews (which is good, because we want to receive who she is today- NOT her in the circumstances of yesterday) 🚀🖤 I'm also in the Kit boat: I can not wait for the music videos, as I'm sure once the wheels are in motion it'll DEFINITELY be worth the [continued] wait ! #Dopamine.

yeah, I think Normani & her team are aiming for a slow burn approach with Dopamine. the streams are fairly consistent as it’s been receiving a lot of love from listeners. I think they want the music to continue to generate buzz, but Normani’s brand has proven her to be a visual recording artist & captivating performer.
