The pallet of tonal possibilities is endless on a vintage SG standard, with Maestro vibrato you have and even larger spectrum of expression. Duane Allman, Robbie Krieger, Derrick Trucks chose this great guitar as their signature form of expression and since their endorsement it's popularity continues to escalate and be the first choice for many artist today.

I have the exact same guitar, neck is the same. Grunn book says mine is a 68. Replaced the case in the 90s, Les Paul signed it and ten years ago Duncan rewound the bridge pick up. It's to be a family heirloom. I bought it in the 70s.

Awesome SG. I'm surprised the vibrola didn't put it out of tune. I had a 69 SG Special but had trouble keeping it in tune.
@davidcalvert42803 сағат бұрын
Gibson put vibrolas on many different models. Vibrolas don't go out of tune but if the nut and bridge saddles bind on the strings that is the cause of instable tuning when you use it. This one has obviously been set up correctly.

Yeah...hard to find a junior at that price now. I have a 67 standard i picked up for 3200 a few years back...then the market skyrocketed..now a 1978 strat or mid seventies gibsons are in the multiple thousands..10 years ago u practically couldnt give em away

its Trumpcaster Tuesday .. Why does Gibson think Trump brand solid body single cut electric guitars look like Gibson brand guitars? Just like you I can tell by the shape of the headstock its not made by Gibson... Gibson was not successful suing PRS for manufacturing a solid body single cut electric guitar because of the shape of the PRS headstock... Trump brand guitars have a different headstock shape also... Make Guitars Great Again... Peace

@@janmichaeljablonsky9847 It seems like you don’t understand that what you see in this video is Lemmo’s signature style. He chooses to play with the distortion like that. He plays in the same style in every single video. He’s a fantastic guitarist, his talent is showcased across hundreds of these videos in which he displays serious technical ability and melodic understanding. Did you bother to watch any of them? Like, your comment makes me question if you even understand melody in the first place.
