The thing about the Stratocaster that makes it absolutely timeless and absolutely beautiful is that it was designed to complement the human form. Like no other design, it sits perfectly within the grasp of the player. Such care was taken to make it completely functional... and because of that, its beauty has never aged and never will. Modern designers, no matter what their field is, need to pay heed to this... FORM FOLLOWS FUNCTION, not the other way around!!! There are other instruments that catch the eye and play well... but for me, as long as there are humans, the Stratocaster is THE GUITAR.

I agree 100% I always felt the ergonomics of the strat design were what sets it apart. It really does feel like Leo had the comfort of the player in the forefront of his design. Can’t forget about the sound bit what a classic.

@@hiimawasteoftime8678 my best friend swears by his 335’s. He plays stoner doom rock and it suits that genre perfectly. Still prefer a strat for funk and other styles though. They all great guitars let’s all buy more (don’t tell my wife)

I think Norm should gift the guitar to me because almost cool LOL and plus I just bought my new reissue 1960s Strat. I like it better then my custom reissue 2014 les Paul AKA tobacco Joe, names after Joe bonamassa. Don't tell Joe ok. Lmao. @daniel laurence thanks. I’ve never played one. The only Fender Custom Shop Strat that I’ve played is a Hendrix Olympic White. Totally different Strat. Where I live, local music shops don’t get many higher end guitars.
