Foot Positioning(for Kickflips and other tricks)

Today, I'm going through slight changes, in foot position, that help me kickflip. These include flatground, into grinds, and off of stairs. This concept can also be applied to all of your other flip tricks. Kickflip was simply the easiest example to use. If you'd like me to apply this to other tricks, comment below. Thanks for watching.

Definitely subbing your a great teacher but it does matter that you care even tho I’m too old to it more that would have really helped me back in the day like you said at the end of the video very different times we had to learn the hard way back then but watching you make it look so graceful makes me proud to have lived like we did stay safe bro and condolences he really liked you if he talked there are so many stories I don’t tell from when I was in Iraq only to other veterans will they come out

I’ve been skating for a while and I would say I’m pretty good but damn Norman your videos and insightfulness has really helped me continue to get better so I appreciate these videos I struggle to kickflip down sets and in to grinds but I’ve been looking for a great in depth video on kickflip crooks and this has helped I’ve landed one in the past but can’t wait to try to apply this again appreciate it

Thank you! He was classic. I remember being told that around 40, you start losing people. I’ll be 40 in April, and there’s been a few losses this year. None like Uncle Cecil though. He was the life of the party.

I think this is the issue I'm having with flipping into grinds. I tend to keep my foot position the same as if I'm doing it on flat ground. Conversely, I've been having more success with almost locking into fakie flip switch crook.

Oscar really benefited from focusing on his follow through(front foot). He also had success every time I reminded him to squat low, before popping. Which lead to him remembering on his own and landing one.

I have a really bad problem which is holding me back so much i dont feel any progress with fixing the problem, i have a bad habit of turning my shoulders before i land on the board i keep them straight when i do the trick its just when im in the air i for some reason turn them do you have any advise and thanks ❤
