This is a topic that really needed to be addressed, as people (even in this community) often tend to ignore the importance of neurotypicality.

I learned to treat socializing with normies as purely transactional. I pretty much won't do it unless it pays my bills somehow. Even looking slightly down on them can be helpful for your self esteem. I just act polite and find an excuse to disengage. Sure, I'm a bit of a reject in their world, but it's not like I ACTUALLY get anything out of socializing with them either. I would prefer complete technological self-sufficiency and a few close 1 on 1 friendships or a small group of other super nerds. A normie can NEVER say anything that actually interests me. I will never care about the mundane crap they talk about (mostly gossip about other people who I don't wanna know about).

I concur. I view them purely as NPCs and make no real efforts to communicate with them beyond transactions. Occasionally I might try to get a laugh out of them for my own personal amusement but that's about it. Going any further with them leads to depression, frustration and annoyance. Simply put, most people aren't worth talking to.

High iq video, it amazes me that we can learn more about sociology and psychology from bp channels than from peer reviewed scientific papers. btw you are very accurate about the normies stuff, all of my life I was struggling to do things that normal people do effortlessly and now I understand that I'm not alone in this.

Nothing to be amazed with. Modern science, which btw is not science, because they tell you must believe them, is censored in some areas. One of these areas is dating dynamics, where mainstream does not allow to criticize women. As a result they create some bs excuses to tell it is man at fault.

I have no problem talking to people when it's involving some of my esoteric interests or theirs, but whenever the conversation is just small talk I struggle a lot like I'm playing one of those video games with dialogue options and I'm taking 30 seconds on each one to pick the right answer.

Great Video! Another thing I want to say is if you are an aspie like me DON'T get a job that ALWAYS comes into contact with the public or where you have to constantly communicate with normies.

Obviously there are levels to all of this. I have an easy time masking because I don't fully try my hardest to mask, I just embrace some of the weirdness that goes on in my attempts at social interaction. People have literally said my smile drops way too fast, like I'll straight up go from 😄to 😐instantly. Just like Zuckerberg lol. The only reason people take me seriously is because I'm kind of an aggressive asshole, I absolutely HATE being misunderstood/misinterperted so I'm very direct and clear in my language, when I'm ignored I'll repeat myself louder and louder until the ignorer responds, and if I do feel strongly about something I will express it regardless of the esoteric and fake "mood" or "vibe" that apparently exists. That + the fact I'm a big scary man. This is how I act at work mostly because I just want to do my fucking job and stupid fucking social bullshit gets in the way of that.

No, despite all that people find ways to make you the odd one out, especially when it comes to virginity. Happens all the time, I just roll with it and say shit like "getting a girlfriend? sounds pretty gay" @@zacara8469

@23:20 There's a strategy for romance that works for aspies just as well as it does for normies: chase the money instead of the women. The richer you get, the less anybody will care about your personal shortcomings - and EVERYBODY has shortcomings.

This is a bit silly. I know plenty of autistic men with partners as they had social training. One of them is so bad, he's been a case study in many textbooks. None of them are extremely good looking.

Got bullied my whole life being bullied for being "different", never had any trouble with grades, actually got on med school with full scholarship without studying that much(in not from us btw). And only recently got an actual diagnosis, probably minor autism and adhd. But what I thank god most is my looks(im not the guy in the photo) and being hung. Im not nearly a chad, but attractive enough to girls approach me and forgive my weirdness for a limited time. Im on a relationship right now. Its been 8 months, lets see for how long she can stand me. Btw, I write in a more nt way in my own language

Very interesting and informative video. There is a russian kid song: "From blue stream river begins And from smile friendship begins". If a man can't show this basic instinct and has poor looks, it's over. It's really over.

I have had a number of girlfriends, but they have been mostly bipolar heavy girls, i am a bipolar chick Magnet. Lot of bipolar teachers put there, its dangerous to date bipolar girls, psychotiic breaks cause loads of false allegations. I wouldnt recommend it, but some of the women on the spectrum are ok, and i personally dont like NT women, so i have a different take on these things, im a philosphical pessimist, black pill i guess.

I’m a high IQ, attractive level 2 autistic woman. I was outcast my entire life and dismissed as weird, snobby, mean, and mentally ill. I was bullied and harassed. I cared - because I was generally trying to help others, even tho I approached it from a much more rational point of view. I stuck out like a sore thumb. My social and emotional quotients were like 20, while my IQ was 140. No amount of my parents and social workers and teachers trying to help me “fit in” ever worked. My peers could sniff me out. I was different - too different. So the mask I developed was one of mental illness - at least that way people would leave me alone and stop asking me to do something I couldn’t. So this video applies to women too. Especially if they don’t have learning disabilities - which it sounds like is the same for men.
