Also, I can sympathize with Rudy not understanding how this might be bad, he is not experienced in this field at all and is trying to be as reasonable as possible. Sylphy also grew up in a very weird environment, her parents died and then she grew up in a courtly setting full of factions and taking up roles to survive. Lilia is absolutely warped though, truly

Had Rudeus argued more with Aisha she would have listened to him over Lillia. Also I don't think their family needs a full time maid for now. Slyphie understands that being at that higher strata of society isn’t all its cut out to be and is DANGEROUS. So she’s being supportive of Aisha because she knows very well how adapting to circumstances because you have to is more painful than choosing what you want to do, even if it seems silly at first.

5:27 actually it's mentioned here in the LN that Badigadi led a moderate faction of demons in the Laplace war that didn't want to get involved. As Ruijerd said in his story when he's first introduced, he was originally one of Laplace's top soldiers in the fight against humanity, and leader of the Sperd warriors, so his and Badigadi's interests didn't align at the time.

In the LN, Ruijerd says that he wants to look around and see if he can find out if any of the remaining Sperd that were driven from the Demon Continent managed to survive and settled down somewhere. That's part of why he left back in season 1, was searching the southern jungles of the Central Continent (west of the King Dragon Realm, which Shirone is a vassal state of), and why he leaves again in this episode (he says he heard someone saw a "devil" to the east). He believes that if the remaining Sperd settled down somewhere, they'd be in a place that would be hard to survive in for the other races.

Lilia had some really really mesed up ideas about how to attone for her afair with paul and the roll her daughter Aisha had to play. She raised Aisha to be Rudeu's personal maid/concubine , sex talks at an earlly age and a very very strict education about protocol house work and such, Lilia never let paul dote on her own daughter, that woud hav interfear with the education Lilia wanted for Aishe Lilia never let Aisha be a kid, Aishe reveld to the idea to become a tool for her brother, but when she actually met him in shirone and saw what kind of person he was she figure it woud not be so bad now she actually wants to play the roll her mother raised her for on her own accord even tho Rudeus DOSN'T WANT THAT Aisha is very talented and inteligent but she is allso very arrogant, she plays lip service to etiquete and manners but she onlly respects competent people, and she has VERY hygh standards Rudeus is worthy of respect becouse he is a very competent person, Sylphie is allso very competent and her brother's wiffe so she is worthy of respect. Norne on the other hand its nothing butaa talentless childish spoild brat in Aisha eyes, and she dosn't recognize Norn's efforts becouse she dosn't get results. Aisha used every oportunity she had to prove she was better than Norne and rub it on her face, Norn's grandma who is a very traditionalist and strict noble woman did not toke kindlly to a Bastard child humilliating the legitimate girl and neather did Lilia. Norn on the other hand just hates to be compared to Aisha, she hates Aisha allways challenging and allways making her feel useless. thats why Aisha was so pumped from getting away from Lilia and living with the brother that let her be herself. Aisha may look fine but trust me she is serriuslly mesed up

Rudy and Aisha being much smarter than Norn feels like a slap in the face, as if saying that Paul's genes are superior to Zenith's (and by extension hers). In turn, this caused her to push Norn even harder.

Every Latreya is exceptional in their own way before she ran away Zenith was the "perfect daughter of Millis" and she ran away months before she meet Paul. Grandma Latreya has plenty of reasons to be prowd of her lineage, if anything becouse that pedigree was one of the mane reasons why she pushed Norne so hard. Rudeus it's allso a Latreya by blood if not by name, but Grandma didn't met him until much later and it was unlikely she woud have belive the stories about her own grandson. And ohhh boy did she found out what Paul and Zenith's offspring can do when you piss him off.

Norn is exactly how I was growing up as a child with divorced (twice) parents and a babysitter who I despised. I got really bad depression at a young age from those experiences. Thankfully I was able to escape my depression for the most part after several years, but she reminds me so much of myself. I can understand the feeling of being separated mostly from the parent you want to be with and forced to have to spend time around someone you don't know that well and only have bad experiences with. She's definitely depressed, and like I did she's definitely not showing it on the outside as much as she can help it.

At least how ive understood it, Norn doesnt want someone to be a protective figure. She wants a man to look up to after so many years of travelling alone with her father after the telportation incident. Based on how old she was at the time of the teleportation incident, she probably barely remembers living in the house with the family and never met Rudy. And then the 1st time she met Rudy was when Rudy and Paul met up again for the 1st time, and Rudy beat the shit out of Paul. So Rudy became a bad guy and someone to be afraid of because he beat the shit out of her role model and protector, and that was when she was like 6yrs old. Skip forward to now, and shes hated him all this time, still sees him as a bad guy, and so her 10-11 yr old brain tries to make sense of it by taking everything he does and trying to make it fit her scary guy assumptions about him (like saying that he must've had multiple women because he was travelling with a different woman 3 years ago compared to the one he married). So of course she doesnt want him to take care of her. Hes a bad guy who beats up his own dad, hes not a proper male role model, and shes still a child so itll take a lot longer than a month to get her immature child brain to understand that people can change and its not so black and white. I mean i highly doubt that i would be more mature than her at the age of 10-11ish, Aisha is just a gifted kid with emotional intelligence and regular intelligence equal to that of an adult, which is insane

Badigadi and Ruijerd Backstory During the Laplace war Badigadi Was the leeder of a moderate demon faction who oposed the war on humans "Badi has seen enough war for a life time" the Laplace and Badigadi's faction had a few clashess. Ruijerd as the Leeder of the Supperd special forces had a few clashes against Badigadi, they probablly killed a lot of their friends, allso the Byegoya region were Ruijerd met Rudeus its Badigadi's kingdom so he must have been aware of his people being terrified of him I don't know if they were friends before, its posible Inmortal demons and Supperds live for a long time, Badi allso dosn't hate Supperds as a race. Badigadi was likelly evaluating Ruijerd, he is a formidable oponent and a cold blooded killer with rather severe warrior code, Badigadi being badigadi was not about to let Ruijerd run wild in the Citty when he saw Rudeus he figured out why Ruijerd was there and descided to leve

Take it from Norn's perspective. When she was just a 7 year old child, she entered an inn amd saw only the end of s squable, where her supposed (to her) brother was beating her father, the only guardian she ever knew and had. Since she was with her father since she started formulating first memories. In her mind paul was a hero who was rescuing people and Rudeus was someone who was beating him on the ground. Norn is literally THE only non-prodigy member of the Greyrat family, so she thinks something is wrong with her. As for why she hates Rudeus so much, that's a bit complicated, but the shortest version is that in her eyes Rudeus is the worst kind of person who always gets the best things in life. Yes, Rudeus is VERY much like Paul in his youth, except Paul that Norn knows is a man who completely dedicated himself to his family, while Rudeus supposedly spends his life repeating Paul's time as a carefree womaniser. Ofc Norn doesn't know or see the full picture. For example she heard Rudy talking about "fun adventures on the demon continent", and she watched him beat Paul up, but she missed the heart to heart talk they had, as well as the reconciliation that followed right after, nor did she understand that Rudy's "fun adventures" were not just fun and games, cause demon continent is DANGEROUS even with Rujerd there to protect you.

True, but remember that going to school is not the norm in MT's world. Sylphy never went to school until she works for the Princess. Rudeus also have bad memory about school from his past life, and got separated from his family from a young age in this world. Ranoa is a University for people with some money, not a normal school.
