I made a proto type / demo version with checkers pieces and printed grids to see if my dad liked it, he LOVED IT!!! So bought a copy for his birthday , great find, cheers guys haha

Oooooh, I think my brother would love this one! I bought him and his girlfriend Hive for Christmas and they texted me later on just saying "you nailed it", so I bet they'd have a great time with another less thematic but differently challenging game about moving things around!

This game was highlighted at my local game shop in 2019 -- I think the publisher is local to CT -- and I bought it immediately. It's brilliant and accessible, and new players really enjoy it. It's like the board game version of Tak that way. So cool to see it highlighted here!

I love it because it looks like I could build my own for about 10 bucks, including some fancy oil to make the rope smell good. Question: what happens if you knock a piece that isn't on an edge? Is any collision a 'take'? Or do you just nudge them one square over?

No, only stones knocked directly off the board edge are removed. You can still push opponent's stones on the board without taking them off if you need to. You can in theory push a stone two spaces without knocking it off, but in practice it's much more likely you'll push one off the edge.
