This map is always very fun. Really useful for trying out new build strategies and it forces you to consider who to push against and when.

Thanks, I appreciate it, but I never wanted my channel to be exclusively about Heroes 3. I still have an active Heroes 3 series on the go and plan to do more later. Also, this game is very similar and only released recently.

The magic items on this map are a waste of excitement haha. +1% damage? I doubt that would make a difference in even a mirrored battle.

I do like some of the changes here. Limited amount of heroes makes it so that you don't need to think too much about pushing out as many heroes as possible straight away. (While you should still focus on getting more heroes). And stack limits also seem like a good idea. Though in terms of your gameplay, I do feel like you're overvaluing economic upgrades. Your main source of income seem to be the adventure map so spending a build turn on a 150 gold increase seems wasteful. Increased XP gain was not worth it in HOMM3, is it better now?

That's a fair point, although it's definitely possible to reach a point where unit production outweighs gold production so I like to be prepared for that. On the Learning skill, the percentage added is a lot higher here than in Heroes 3 but really the reason I don't question it is because it's one of Sla-Kin's starting skills, so I might as well invest in it early to maximise the benefits.

This game has a very interesting art style, the animations are ok, and the gameplay loooks very cool too, I'd like to see where this project will go in the future, maybe adding some new factions would make it even better.

@@FilmGamerHUN I think 10 is a stretch too far. I'd rather have 6 full fleshed out balanced factions with more strategic depth each. Right now it's quality, has lots of potential, but is very basic and could easily be a mobile game.

really enjoy this. it is not that I do not like HOM3 but this is a fresh take on the formulae. the only thing I dislike is that you cannot mi your armies with different factions.

Just found out about this game, puzzled by the HoMM3 comparisons since I only aware of that game brcause my cousin was addicted to it. It does nevertheless, reminds me of Disciples II, a game a sunk several hundreds of hours into. Yet to try the Rana, everybody seems to like them, trying the campaign since things didnt go well with skirmish.

It's a great game - I really like the skills and abilities as well as the new types of 'Wielder'. The only issue for me is that with a low res image protocol, the differentiation between buildings, items, resources etc and the background is poor. Maybe make the background a few shades paler? (Is this even possible?) This would make the places of importance / interest 'pop' more. M 🦘🏏😎

I agree. I often miss things on the map because interactable objects don't really stand out. But I don't think I can change that myself, it seems to be a design decision.
