Best outdoor gear there is for me. Been using it for 30 years. Had a bike accident with my Trollveggen jacket that ripped the whole arm. They changed the whole arm and sendt it to me for 125 NKR (12 USD) Back in the 90s. And they still do the repairs fairly cheap. 7 years warranty. Would be stupid to buy a different brand. Kudos for the best gear on the planet. And no; I Ain´t working for them. I´m a Norwegian though.

Jealous but happy for all! Just got back into skiing after 20yrs off. Almost 40yrs old now. Wish I wouldve stayed with it longer. Looks like a dream come true to have skills and knowledge to have these adventures in life! Thank you for sharing. Beautiful!

Great video! Finally one that captures more on the aspect of mountaineering and touring (although nowhere near thoroughly). Too many tourists die in Norway each year not knowing what winter (or easter) really is like and as a result how to handle it.

@MerrickoftheNorth2 жыл бұрын
Yep. Only our legs and a drone that crashed after the first day. That was the spiciest day of being on the sharp end with Morgan Salen and retrieving the drone. I was just psyched to climb and get a break from parenting with full focus on the moment. After that…made the decision of no guide and slowing down on “the mission.” Not either to move safely with a deep persistent weak layer. But glad to work as a team but prefer other activities with those conditions. Cheers

The takeaway message here is very irresponsible; "If you make the right decisions you'll be fine." It took a life-long mountain guide to save your ass from a very bad situation and without her you all could have died. Show some humility, the moral should be to not get yourself in this position in the first place. Come back when the snow is stable. Very Frustrating.

Sweet. Just like Narvik (1330m) . Only without the Gondol lift to the top(!) Narvik have exelent local guides. Born and raised in the mountain. One of them likes it steeeeeep and suuuuperfast, from the third, and highest top. Dropping down "Mørkhålla", a local name for the hotspot. Big beard and a Sami Viking. Google "Ronny Dahl - Narvikfjellet/Fagernesfjellet". He is the designer of 2025 WC-Downhill slopes in Narvikfjellet. . He can provide other guides if you like a bit more slow downhill. Also The pub on the top of the Gondol is exelent if you want a burger and a beer. Or if the kids are hungry. Great service. I dont have any commercial stuff to do with Narvikfjellet og guides there. But i have been there several times and as a semi- pro I can only recomend it. Especially if you like to go fast. Just a tip from a Northener
