You have been misinformed. Die cast Masters is a new company formed by people from norscot and tonkin. Their first models will be 2014-2015 models from the previous company's

I have heard quite to the contrary. Yes, many of the first models that will constitute the Diecast Masters lineup will be former Norscot and Tonkin castings, but there is no connection other than that in terms of personnel to the new company...IE...no one from Norscot or Tonkin. This information is coming straight from a source at DM. I do expect some new models from them next year and of course, moving forward.

The initial run of models will be very similar to what Norscot did with the ERTL pieces back in the late 90's; The 988B, D10N, and D350 are examples of this.

Diecast Masters had backed up Norscots financial division during these last couple years. Personally, it was no surprise to me that Norscot lost there licensing. They have had few releases these past couple years, which is due in part by their factory shutdown issues. @diecastemporium, Remember how Tonkin said they would listen to us? I personally think it went in one ear and out the other. If Diecast Masters will actually listen to us, then maybe we can get some pretty good cat models.
