I had a pretty strong experience with Tyr a few months after I started working with him. I have eczema, which usually flares up when my anxiety and depression gets bad. One night, I was having a full-blown mental breakdown, i was crying, i couldn't think straight, and it felt like my whole world was crashing down. So, with the strong emotions, my skin flared up. Usually when my skin gets real bad I take an extra long shower and do lots of skincare afterwards, but I just didn't have it in me that night. I fell into bed crying, and started talking to Tyr. Nothing super important or noteworthy, most of it was just venting to him about how upset I was. Then towards the end of my talking to him, I started repeating "please help me, I don't know how but please." and only a couple of minutes after I asked him for help, my mind had cleared, and I felt this burst of energy. It wasn't the anxious energy I had been feeling, but an energy much closer to determination/motivation. Despite how bad my skin hurt, I went and finished my nightly routine, the energy wearing off once I was out of the shower, but the clear mind staying. It meant a whole lot to me that he would help to give me that push just because I had asked.

I’ve always struggled with my mental health and physical health. And have always questioned my beliefs since I left fully Christianity when I was 13. When I started to follow the Norse path Tyr was the god I was immediately drawn to and have felt the most guidance from. He has really helped me to get to a better place both mentally and physically and has seen me through some of the hardest days of my life

I'm a boxer / martial artist through and through, I have recently become a passionate Norse pagan and Tyr was who I connected with him immediately. I have a fight booked for December 4th and I am torturing myself with training everyday. I never miss a day and I always go for a personal best each day. Even when I can't do it and I can't get out of bed I tell Tyr and other gods on their days that this effort is for them. My progress is incredible and I've never felt more of a purpose in life than to represent the power of the gods in battle once again. I have also said to Tyr his mighty right sword hand can live on. If he is happy with my efforts and decides to bless me his right hand may take place of my own in battle and all it's successes will be credited to him. I thought this was a big ask to have the power of mighty Tyr in my right hand but on Wednesday I had some hard sparring booked for the evening. I was already tired after my daily 1km swim, 10k bike ride , 1 mile run , 1km rowing all done to attempt PB. I thought defeat was likely but after a close first round I relaxed and aimed my right hand straight and fast. Its affect was like never before and my opponents nose bled his eyes glazed. After one more right hand he went down. I credit Tyr and I plan to get his rune on my right wrist. Norse paganism Is the way of life. Hail to the gods. Anything is possible through belief in them.

So I just had the most awesome Tyr and Odin experiences tied together. I am in the army and before PT dedicated bettering myself physically and as a soldier in general to Tyr. After PT on my way to my car there was the most beautiful sunrise I have seen in years, I said to myself if that’s not a sign I don’t know what is. An Odin experience is what brought me to this path about 9 months ago. All of a sudden after thinking about the sunrise two huge ravens flew about five feet over my head one of them had a rat dangling from its mouth, it was almost Odin reassuring me that I was still following my path, I hadn’t had a real sign from Odin in at least 6 months.

I haven't had a lot of time and energy to give to the gods or proper rituals or offerings since I got sick. However, I have a connection with Tyr. I was hospitalized in April with an embolism and was doing my best before to promote myself more with the pantheon persay. Doing offerings and giving thanks. Now that hospitalization I had an embolism and was going to die unless they did a surgery. Now the surgery nurse who took me back and was a bad ass through most of it from what I remember and I kid you not her name was Tuesday. Cause of her and the surgeon I lived and am here discussing the god Tyr. SKAL.

I could only feel Frigg when I started my Norse pagan journey years ago and none of the male gods particularly felt right for me, Odin especially didn’t feel like the right god for me to worship but when I heard stories of Tyr I realised that he’s been with me since a child and I just didn’t realise it at the time, I’ve had a difficult life but every obstacle I’ve been given I’ve overcome and I’m still surviving despite it all and I know that’s because of the strength of Tyr and I now feel him more and more since I realised it was him and acknowledged the ways he had presented himself to me/in my life, he seems to show up in the most interesting of ways and I just love that! 🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️ I love your channel too, I recently found it and love the way you go about every subject with objectivity and your energy is great! 🥰 I also absolutely loved the hole in the rock offering idea, that’s so lovely! ❤️❤️❤️

I have just recently discovered paganism for myself and after gathering some information and finding your channel yesterday, I decided to devote todays evening to the gods and try to introduce myself and bid for guidance. Though I didn’t expect to see any results on my first attempt, I did get a sign while meditating. A spear appeared before me, which led me to believe Odin was giving me a sign. As I looked closer, I saw outlines of a man. Though I could not tell who it was, the name Tyr kept ringing in my head. After thanking him for his appearance I asked why he had chosen to reveal himself to me, he said that he was to be my guide on starting my journey and finding my way to the gods. After reading up on him I was confused for a while, as I don’t serve nor have I ever served in the military. But after reflecting for a while, it is starting to make sense to me. My general fascination in weapons and warfare, my drive for success and being the best version of myself, the fact that I have been an active (currently passive) rifleman in our representational town guard… I suddenly feel like Tyr has always been with me. So it feels like fate that you just recently put up some great material to find out more about my guide. Excited to learn more about him and for him to introduce me to the other gods and beings, thinking about my past, I feel like I already have a certain bond with him and will devote my self improvements to him going forward. I do wonder what the meaning of the spear may be. I could not find any connection to Tyr. Does it mean that Odin chose to send Tyr to welcome me? I will be meditating again in the upcoming days to reflect on this sign.

I’ve been journeying on the Norse Pagan path since my time in Afghanistan with the Army in 2016. Felt a connection with Odin and Thor as I started my journey, but I have been drawn to Tyr constantly since then. I am an Army Veterinarian and worked with military working dogs daily. Now, I am the veterinarian for U.S Customs and Border Protection, taking care of working dogs every day here as well. I place my hand in the jaws of Fenrir figuratively speaking on a daily basis. Going through a challenging time emotionally right now. Calling out to Tyr for strength and guidance. Thank you for the reminder that he is still there.

So I also have been blessed by what I think is tyrs presence twice…one time after reading the famous stories about fenrir and I was meditating ALONE in the sauna at my local gym and when I was finished I noticed a CHAIN had been left 🤷🏽‍♂️ it was highly symbolic to me. Same thing happened again I was really thinking about tyr hardcore, fresh on my mind, and then on my way to work a saw a one-handed man on the road! clear as day. I believe these things were meant for me to see…This kind of thing has happened to me many times and I’m greatful for a lot of the advice on this channel. Thanks ❤

Love the show brother, I listen to it on Spotify at work and it helps me through even the toughest days in the factory. I prayed to Tyr today and he filled me with a courage and resolve beyond articulation. I often think of his sacrifice for us and the rest of the gods and it’s truly inspiring. I wouldn’t even say he’s my main patron god but he’s very important and emotionally moving nonetheless and I understand why people so fervently worship him

I have this amazing little black mouth cur dog that has a stumpy front leg. I couldn't think of a more suitable name for this tough boy. His vet believes that his mother accidentally bit off his foot while attempting to break the umbilical cord. I got him when he was already 7 months old, and his disgraceful "breeders" blame it on a birth defect when they dumped him and his emaciated brother off at a kill shelter. Maybe it is a defect, but it genuinely looks like trauma. Regardless, this dog is both gentle and protective. He can throw his German shepherd and pitty friends around like their ragdolls. Sure, they can outrun him, but he his a wrecking ball and so determined.

I found heathery very recently in the last 6 months. When I began learning runes I asked one question to my rune. What god favors me the most. And my single rune pull was tiwaz. Started reading and was blown away how connected I was to him. And the story's told about him. I find my self a new heathen feeling more connected to this faith then ever. I connected with him again on a trip to far north Maine beach. I gave him and offering and have not looked back on my choice to become a heathen. I hope to connect with other gods but for now I was bewildered. Happy. And overall accepted by my new found faith. SKÅL

Oops, shared my Tyr experience last video . But to be fair I work with Tyr when I'm aqble (I probably ought to presently, really; I try not to trouble the gods); and I find I connect to the justice aspect easily enough. If it helps, one suggestion for anyone looking to work with him is go in with a positive attitude. Tyr's been friendly with me in my experience, but he's still a warrior and so respect and positivity go a long ways towards working with him. I've poured out mead for him before, and usually if I make a general offering to the gods, he's pretty well implied every time; deeds are also good but with those you still ought to go in expecting a challenge. My best encouragement if you're afraid is... Tyr seems to GET it. I scare easily, but as long as you try... Tyr's going to be there. You got this.

I study many different forms of spirituality to find my own truth in the world. The man that introduced me to Norse paganism told me on our first meeting that my energy reminded him of Tyr. He proceeded to look for his bag of runes to give me a lesson on them and teach me more about Norse paganism. When he thought he had found them he reached in to pull out a rune and discovered the bag he found was just full of ordinary stones that he had collected, and as he dumped out the entire bag a single rune fell out which turned out to be Tiwaz. He told me that had to be a sign since he was thinking about that specific rune prior to looking for the bag. After he found the bag with the rest of his runes in it, he put the Tiwaz in with the rest of them, shook the bag to make sure they were mixed, then proceeded to pull the same rune for me 7 times in succession. I sincerely believe that everything happens for a reason and nothing is coincidence. This video makes me believe it that much more. Thank you so much for covering the subject and I sincerely hope to connect with you sometime in the future. Much love from Kentucky. P.S. I’ve seen that cannon several times throughout my childhood 😉

I saw Fenrir bounded to the rocks, and a man with an ash grey beard missing his right hand trying to calm Fenrir as he growled with fury. The old man turned to face my general direction and said "something". I can't recall what the man said. I woke up shortly after. Is this a call or am I looking too far into this?
