Beautiful and structurally unique design aircraft. But in Vietnam, I wouldn't want to fly that. They were brave pilots and men.

The upgraded a couple of them a couple years ago and flew them in combat against ISIS to test new weapons and tactics

Such a cool little plane. Looks like a ton of fun to fly. I just can't find anything I wouldn't like about it. This would make a nice weekend getaway machine to go anywhere.

Why does it have the luftwaffe sign on it?

It's an ex Luftwaffe aircraft. The Germans used them for target towing.

I thought broncos we're produced in early 1960s?

@@francois1048 They were. The Luftwaffe is the German Air Force, the aerial branch of the Bundeswehr, the German Armed Forces.
