I’m used to stitching on lower count 16 usually. These SAL have 28 or 32 count and it’s intimidating. Not sure about my eyes. Any suggestions ?

if you would like to stitch on the higher count evenweaves, and there are concerns about your eyesight, we would recommend a magnifying reader that can be attached to a table/stand or around your neck. Hi Ford! I love your videos and I do have a question… It’s probably a silly one, but I’m gonna ask anyway. I’ve been doing Christmas stockings and have been using 14 count Aida cloth and for years I have used three strands along with that just because I like the coverage it brings. Is there any advantage for me doing railroading (which I only learned about a couple of months ago from you) when using three strands. Thank you in advance for any information you can give

Railroading helps keep the strands from twisting no matter how many strands you're using, but if you're wanting really even, consistent stitches with three strands you may have better luck using a laying tool (or even the tip of a second blunt needle) to keep the strands parallel as you tighten the stitch.
