It’s already freezing cold here in NC and there are homeless people in the mountains. 😢. Roads are still blocked. My sisters and I took blankets up to a church for distribution. We had to travel south, then west, then north to find open roads. H E L P !

I am an Asheville resident and can say none of us were expecting the severity. If anyone is interested in volunteering please reach out to my friends at Blunt Pretzels in Swannanoa. There is a need for volunteers for handing out food at food lines and removing debris for people property. Thanks for thinking of us.

You can also donate to "budgies bakeshop " in candler n.c. They are raising donations for more relief efforts or "world central mobile kitchen" who have been donating meals all over town.

"Beloved Asheville" is also taking donations for space heaters. This is currently their biggest need.
