I just finished watching Carlos and Ronnie's NEBDR episodes and appreciate your contribution on the route. You confirm the benefit of riding a lighter bike - although I realize they traveled from Florida, so a bigger bike was probably justified. Of the ADV channels I watch, you and Brock Gill rank high among the riders I could see myself riding with. Looking forward to your next episode.

Enjoyed, you might mention the names of the towns and villages you stop eat and gas in. RIDE SAFE OUT THERE!

Just so beautiful. Love as the trails become more primitive and a steam is right there. ❤ PS just found, liked and subscribed.

Hamlin and the crew are great. I had my Guzzi serviced and stored there for a while. Hey Jim!

Great video and commentary. Just a note about the expert sections on the NEBDR. The only sections that need a permit are the OHV sections in Maine. They are cool. Just each person will need to decide if the permit fee is worth it for them. The remainder of the expert portions do not require a permit. And they are super fun. Really enjoying the video.

Cool videos - I've watched a few of yours. One question - do you ever see smaller bore dual sports out there? I'm a technical trails rider in the east coast. I've been on 2 stroke bikes for over 20 years and a light rider. I've thought about doing rides like this but I'm 5'7 145lbs I can't really see myself on anything larger than a 400 or 500 dual sport.

I did this BDR with a guy on a 450RL. I've seen people on 250s doing the CDT, so it's definitely possible. It really just comes down to are you comfortable riding the distance on the bike.

Section 1 looks reasonably tame. Do you think I’d be ok with Anakee Adventure 80/20 tires on by bmw 850gs?

I appreciate all the positivity about this video , but I'm sorry to say, this was not for me... far too much of the video was directed at the rider, and not the scenery in front of the bike looking forward. I'm absolutely not interested in watching a biker show off , look at me...Also far too much narration... commentary. you should take some tips from Itchy Boots on how to produce a travel video. Sorry , just my opinion..., It's actually funny that I really like the BDR series, great videos, lots of wonderful riding. great fun. No cigars on this one though.

In no way this video gave me the feeling of showing off. It’s great to have two cameras angles compared to just one of only the scenery. I’d like to see you go ahead and ride the RDR, film your experience, edit, sync sound, edit audio, select music, etc and see how easy it is to actually make a video. No need to be such a harsh critic on such a positive video. Keep up the great work @MeerkatADV :)

I didn't get any impression of showing off. My dad and I actually watched this and found it pretty entertaining. There are different types of videos for different people, that's all.
