North Fork Reservoir Fishing | Fall Trout Fishing | Oregon Fishing 2021

North Fork Reservoir fishing in Clackamas Oregon has been one of Oregon's best fishing spots in the fall 2021. Unfortunately in September 2020 this place was hit by one of the worst fires its ever seen. In a years time you can see how the areas that were burned are starting to grow back slowly and bring back some green. We have some shots of last year compared to now. You can see the spots are coming back stronger than ever The season closes October 31st and will be open again for trout fishing in May of 2022 . During September and fall this lake had some some hungry motivated rainbow trout.
I think I had some of the best Oregon fall trout fishing. Fire or no fire North Fork Reservoir is an Oregon Fishing spot to check out during the open season. I truly believe North Fork Reservoir will come back stronger than ever. Definitely one of my favorite Oregon fishing spots in 2021 Please follow my journey as I continue to scope on some spots across the Pacific Northwest. Fish on and tight lines.

It’s free to park I think it’s free to launch too on the main side. It’s open til October 31st. Then will be closed until May. A lot of fish and great scenery for sure and no cell phone reception. Thanks for stopping by 🙏

Pretty sure that was a white sucker and not a northern pikeminnow. Pikeminnow don't have that sucker type mouth, they have a much more salmonoid type mouth.

The dough one they will swallow and more visible but the eggs never fall off and a lot times powerbait washes off and the garlic sauce makes it smell for hours and brings a trail and takes away the hesitation factor they have. Thanks for stopping by. 🎣

Really great spot! I tried bottom fishing for rainbow trout few times but was not lucky. Prefer spin fishing instead=)

Some spots are good and some are terrible especially with the place changing so much with the water levels I got lucky on this one I was forced to fish there since there is nowhere else to go. I gotta try the spin fish sometime
