We located a restaurant called Babal Da Punjabi Dhabha in our neighborhood in Chennai and started to frequent it. We are now addicted to the Punjabi food like kulcha, langar dhal, lassi, dhal makhni, Paneer tikka!

Wow!! What an awesome video with such amazing food! I used to have a college classmate in India who was Punjabi and everyday after school invited myself to her home just to eat yummy Punjabi Food!! Sadly I never got to visit Punjab. At the time I was in India it was closed to foreigners due to political problems. Also, Your guide was really knowledgeable and friendly! I hope to use his services when I visit!

PEDHA - It's a sweet which are made of mawa with cardamom or saffron, decorated with dry fruits. (MATHURA city) 2. PETHA - Sweet made of pumpkin, lot of flavours like chocolate, kesar, paan, etc. (AGRA city)

Great video!! You have tried at the oldest and best places in Amritsar!! Punjabi samosa,paratha, Chole bature lassi and langar at Golden temple are the best things you can try in Amritsar.

@@samuelandaudrey Hii guys. You should visit Chandigarh is a very beautiful city and the rock garden is the best. Yes I have visited many places around India but only Amritsar and Chandigarh in the state of Punjab. You must try the states of Karnataka Gujrat and Maharashtra for the food there. I guess you have been to Kerala Hyderabad and Rajasthan. For travelling you could go to Andaman and Nicobar islands it's a union territory of india. I think one of the best places if you like Beaches. And if you like hill station Ooty,Shimla,Manali,Kodaikannal,Coorg,Mount abu,Tawang,sikkim are the best places. To visit traditional indian temples Visit uttarpradesh,kerala,Karnataka and Tamil nadu and orissa. India is a very old,traditional yet modern and diverse country.

I’m an Indian myself. I’m partial to all desi foods! However, given a choice - that plate of chole kulche looks scrumptious! Here in Mumbai, we usually have lassi after lunch or dinner and seldom for breakfast. Damnnnn I love Indian food. I’m so happy seeing you enjoy our cuisine as well. So much variety to offer at various price points. There’s something for everyone! Here in India, we say that dialects and food changes every 100 km. Cannot wait to watch all of your videos. Lots of love from India!

That kulcha looks so crispy and flaky! It looks so tasty with all of the herbs and spices in it. And the paneer bhurji...wow. Looks so rich and heavy but so good! And speaking of rich, the lassi with the thick chunks of butter seems like the ultimate way to finish a breakfast street food tour! Haha, for a long time I needed to gain weight...instead of trying tons of protein powders, I should have just booked a trip to Amritsar! 😂

Thanks Brandon! We got a day's worth of calories just for breakfast. It was all so good. Amritsar was one of our favourite cities on this trip. If you have a chance to visit we'd recommend it. LOL, Amritsar would help you out for sure and it would be more tasty than those protein shakes...haha

Thanks Paula! That was honestly one of our best breakfasts on the entire trip. Everything we tried was vegetarian friendly but definitely not vegan. Here is a recipe I found: www.cookingcarnival.com/amritsari-kulcha/ For Dough (12 Kulcha) 4 cups - Unbleached All Purpose flour / Maida 2 tbsp - Oil Salt to taste 2 tsp - Active dry yeast 2 tbsp - Sugar 2 cups Warm Whole milk you may need 1 and 3/4 cup only, depending upon the quality of your all purpose flour For Stuffing (will make 12 balls) 1 kg - Boiled Potatoes 3 - tbsp Chopped coriander 1 tbsp - Green chili paste we prefer little bit spicy, you may add according to your taste Salt to taste 1 tbsp - Chaat masala 1 tsp - Garam masala Other Ingredient Butter All purpose flour / maida for rolling the Kulcha Some Crushed coriander seeds Some crushed anardaana Optional Red chili powder Chopped cilantro

@@samuelandaudrey madhura is a district in tamil nadu, both veg and non veg food are famous there Ubm is in erode district of tamil nadu, at Perumdurai, there u will get unlimted non veg food except beef Tirunnelveli is famous for halwa Chennai, Vadapalani, that's capital of Tamilnadu shop, very famous Murugan Idly shop , Idlys are very soft and side dish for idlys are different chutneys which are much tastier than idlys Maamallapuram is another attraction in Tamilnadu Kancheepuram is famous for temples and our pride Kancheepuram silk saree Pondicherry is a UT , it has both in one area u can see Indian version and other side u can see French version in the city Then as you heard already Chettinad is famous for its bungalows and cuisine This much I knew, hope it's going to be helpful for you
