@@mikeh7220 Correct....not commercially viable. The usual fast food strips. One Medical Pharm shipment plant....staffed by outsiders. The near by mall died a few years back. The surrounding farmlands...ripe for development. Willingboro isn’t the “hood”...yet. Lived there 14 years...still have family there. 8-11 miles north of Philly, Camden. It was one of the original Levitt Towns. Planned suburban community utopias for Whites. An escape refuge for them as more Blacks moved into N.Y.-Philly-Jersey urban cities. Doubt most folks will read my rant but here goes anyway. Somebody gotta say it. When I see “them” coming”...it’s time to pack and keep it moving. We watch these “worst hood” videos like they’re some Sci-Fi alien flick. It’s an indictment on Blacks...and the “systems” Why do we trash, destroy everywhere we live? Perps/predators, crime, garbage, trash, broke down everything. Then we wait on the “White Man” to find us another place to tear up, terrorize. Grew up in Brick City Newark (1950-70) when it was safe to walk/ride the bus alone at 1-2am. No trash, crime, deterioration. Pre-1967 Riots...only the central ward was “the hood”. The West side, South side/Weequhaic soon followed. North Newark was the last to succumb to the scourge. It spread to Irvington, Orange, East Orange, Bloomfield, lower Montclair, etc. Anything bordering Newark became “hood” except “Down Neck-Iron Bound...a different story. The “hood” never headed up South Orange Mountains, Glen Ridge, Nutley or Essex Fells. Nope. Not gonna happen. . Downtown Newark gentrification is in play big time. White folks reclaiming what was once theirs. More folks will be handed “get out of town” relocation vouchers. Started under Mayor Sharpe James. His plan was shrewd. Move the “riff-raff” out first. Timing assured no chance to return Didn’t get them all out...those who remained/returned create havoc. Majority black Towns like W’boro attract these folks. Not Glen Ridge. We gawk at these “hoods” like they are alien settlements. These are real Black folk...not “crisis actors”. This hood Shish is real. Cant even recognize my old Newark areas....knew them all. Only major landmarks...churches....trigger my memory. WTH? The operative word for “the hood“ is gentrify -gentry-gentrify. After Blacks damn near tear everything up...we get “transitioned out”. Wash-Rinse-Repeat. Urban city Gate keepers are Democrat politicians. They oversee all the wreck & ruin until it’s “move em out” time. SMH. .

The homes in my town don't look much different but what we don't have is street litter and empty lots filled with trash. It's not where you live but how you live. As a native to New Jersey I can say with complete confidence and knowledge that none of these towns are nice. I've been to all of them and spent alot of time in the gang and drug scene throughout northern and central NJ, these towns are absolutely awful. Those houses are most likely not up to code and even if they are your landlord is probably a dickhead that over charges you on your rent. And the violence is out of control. Just last month my cousin who was 17 was shot and killed in Irvington due to gang violence he wasn't even involved in. NJ is a low-key state we keep alot of the more dirty shit to ourselves. Oh and pot holes, everywhere. It's not like that everywhere though, we have some pretty nice areas with mansions and alot of farm land. But a lot of the people in the mansions and working on the farm are also packing and using some type of drug. I'm not trying to say everything and everyone is bad. There's good people everywhere, New Jerseys hoods just bring out the worst in everyone though.

Been to Sacramento. Such a beautiful city, very clean. The only thing hood out there are the people. And even that being said they try way to hard, now the bay area is the hood of northern cali.

Dude, by Charlie's video I can see real America. Everyone has already seen the tourist place and from Hollywood films, and everyone is sick of this window dressing. If I ask you about life in Germany or Russia, then surely you will also carry the propaganda nonsense that American news drove into your head. ;)
