The hermit kingdom seems to be cropping up on social media goading individuals to come take a trip and experience an embellished side of the country, in reality these pieces of media help to portray the exact nature of the nation even if it's unintended. Thanks for watching!

@@SoloEcho and maybe his way of thinking is wrong still. North Korea aren’t retards they understand what they can do it’s just their lack of ability since most of the western world refuses to even contact them let alone deal with them I reckon the only way North Korea will truly grow is with the help of either Russia or China or even a unity between south and north or better yet their communist reign ends and the government changes other them options the only other way around it is an inevitable war

Yes, people are killed everyday for any reason, the citizens are basically all slaves. So it’s not an exaggeration, whether there’s literally a gun behind the camera, they know they’ll be killed if they mess up. So there is basically a rifle behind everything and everyone, at every moment. This vid is wrong for calling out individuals for bad acting, when a rumor is enough to get killed / imprisoned / enslaved etc. This should be taken down.

@cau1471
@cau1471 3 жыл бұрын
@Linfrey lol ask anyone if they know what country goes by "the democratic peoples republic of korea". North Korea would be referring to themselves as dprk because they legitimately WANT the world to see them as the democratic peoples republic of Korea. They would want to bring good publicity to the country and putting democratic in the name only helps. Look into ANY north Korean propaganda meant for different countries. They refer to themselves as dprk. Because that is what they want people to think. They don't want people to think they're a dictatorship. They try to use the same tactics on the outside world. Also, the original comment was wondering the validity of the video due to them calling it north korea themselves. If this belonged to a north korean who lived in North Korea they would likely call it DPRK, too. Think about it for a few minutes, your small brain might need to reread that a few times to understand. The argument was, "is this really a video from a north Korean person?" From what I understood from the original comment, they made a good point. You started spouting arrogant big brain bs where you do that American thing where you think everyone is American and has American education (fun fact: america isn't the epicenter of the world. People in different countries, particularly the vast majority of people I know, in my country, in each place I've lived, have had an interest in global politics. Even those that don't are required to take a global politics class to graduate highschool-- you know what we did in that class? We learned about countries and governments all over the world. Including North Korea, where we were taught that they typically go by DPRK these days--not everyone in the world thinks the same as you, buddy. Not everyone is dumb. But go ahead, keep telling yourself you're a big brain winner. I'm sure you're not gonna end up in a dead end job the rest of your life due to your insufferable personality

After watching those, and seeing how the people normally are, vs what you bring to us here. I agree, there is definitely fear in their eyes. In case you didn't know, Dandong is on the border of China and DPRK. It's also somewhat of a tourist spot for Chinese tourists to get a glimpse of North Korea don't ask me why. It's no secret that places like these which are controversial need some sort of some sort of state sponsored advertising to promote tourism, this is just one of those things. There's a similar channel on KZbin that's a Xinjiang girl and she goes around Xinjian describing what life's like, what food you cna have, stuff you can find at the market, etc. The most obvious thing is that if she's living in Xinjiang, how is she allowed to have a prominent KZbin channel unless the state approves of it. So you can pretty much bet that all these kinds of things are state sponsored, the people who star in them aren't there because it's their normal lives but probably because some government PR department told them they were going to be filming that day and they need to look their best "or else". Imagine what you'd do in that situation.

so, im pretty sure the rock piles are actually for flooding, its to help temper where the water flows and to save possible fields from being flooded and ruining crops by redirecting it else where or keeping it in the towns till it drains back to the river, from what i gather these rock canals (? not sure what to call them) are pretty common in asia as it's an area that tends to flood often

Yeah Muta seems not to know the country is starving, nor does he seem to know that he is putting people's lives in danger of death / enslavement by spotlighting their bad acting in this video. How he could not know their starvation, or their totalitarian rule, is impossibly ignorant and blind. Those are basically the two biggest facts about NK...
