I don't usually see North MB Ocean Boulevard that often at all! Thanks for the drive!

It’s been years since I’ve been there. I’m so glad they still have the beach charm and not all those high rise hotels. Thanks for the ride!

But it's coming. There are too many rooms and no more beach. Way over developed.

I recommend to everybody that if they come to the Myrtle Beach area and want a "beachier vibe" to go to North Myrtle Beach. It has a good mixture of the luxury corporate and mom & pop businesses. Would have been nice to go down Ocean Blvd into Cherry Grove. In the 80s I rented an apartment 2 blocks from the beach in Windy Hill. Those were the days! I ended up buying a house in Myrtle Beach after the Air Force base closed. There may come a day I'll move back.

Is the construction just to improve drainage? I know that area has flooding/ponding issues.

We were supposed to be arriving in Cherry Grove this Saturday. :( Decided to cancel, but have already booked for next year. Love going to Main Street.

I was enjoying following your route on Google Earth but got lost a few times. Looks like you had to turn off North Ocean Blvd a few times from construction. We have only been up that way a time or two but it looks interesting with a lot of resorts to check out. Looks like things are returning to normal?

I'd love to hear your thoughts on the absolutely disgusting behavior that took place on the BLVD in MB this weekend, and the absolute lack of respect visitors showed for the health and safety of themselves, but also the residents here. I live in Surfside and was incredibly disappointed. With our freedom comes personal responsibility and accountability. Saw very little of that in MB.

Yeah, I live in NMB and I was disgusted with their behavior over the weekend. One reason I never venture to MB.

Yah, you drove by my condo this time. You know, if I knew you were passing my Krogers on Main St, I would have had you pick up a gallon of milk for me lol

Hello, I used to live there about 50 years ago , went to school at Ocean Drive Elem. school , does anyone remember Bill Hussey or Paula Berry ( father...Berry real estate ). ? My old friends can't remember all of them ....

Just watched this video purely out of nostalgia. I'm from Canada and we've been to NMB at least a dozen times in the last twenty years or so. I've always prefered NMB over MB. I like the vibe of the place which is more laid back than MB. We were supposed to go this summer with our grandchildrens but had to cancel, much to our disapointment, because of this Covid business. I really hope we can go back next summer if this Covid bug can finally be under control and IF they ever reopen the borders between our two countries.

Was this POV on a weekday, seems more calmer than the other day with the idiots blocking Ocean Blvd with golf carts.

Saturday morning about 10am. North Myrtle Beach is usually less hectic.
