Wish I could get a hold of you somehow. I have the complete story as to how Table Mountain was formed and it's a bit more complicated then what you said. This is not a criticism. Just want to set the record straight. This was another excellent video.

Thanks Mark. I tried to simplify the geology ( My field is history not geology). I found that short KZbin videos are best. If viewers have a basic understanding/interest, my hope is that they will support preservation. Love to see your more complete story.

Oroville CA? Is this near that 1910 discovery of the Indian, Ishi, was discovered??? Sounds similar?

Ishi was found two miles outside of Oroville. The North Table Mountain would be slightly further east of Oroville. The formation was known and used by the local indigenous tribes. East of the mountain is the gold mining town of Cherokee. How the Cherokees came is another story to be told.
