Parents, you need to grow up too. Step up for your children. Remember, they emulate the world around them. They reflect back what they see.
@jikook74575 сағат бұрын
That's it exactly. There's so many videos of adults acting a fool, fighting police, fighting store or restaurant employees, principals, teachers, cursing at folks just doing their jobs, because they didn't get to do or say or take what they wanted. The rotten apples aren't falling far from the ratchet tree in so many instances.
@earlofmar79872 сағат бұрын
@@jikook7457 I know we all think our parents hung the moon. But some of them have some really bad habits. Maybe they learned it from their parents, or because of war. My dad served under Gen. Patton. As a result, he smoked, drank coffee and cussed. Took a long time to get him to stop cussing. Never did stop smoking. Kids see that. I thought it was cool and wanted to be just like my Dad. Terrible habit. But I finally realized how much it stunk and stopped.
@jikook74572 сағат бұрын
@earlofmar7987 I'm gonna say that your dad's habits, although not the healthiest, weren't reeking havoc on and creating dangerous chaos that negatively impacted entire neighborhoods or towns. THAT'S the difference. The other problem is that the parents haven't outgrown ratchet behaviors, and 99.9% of the time, their kids also continue on with the ratchet behaviors into adulthood if they make it that far. It's passed down like fine China, silver, and family heirlooms used to be. Except that the silver, China, etc... weren't out robbing people, fighting en masse, or destroying entire towns with its behavior.

In that aerial footage I didn't see any white kids. I've been policing 14 years and have been involved in a few of these large juvenile brawls. In every case the crowds were unruly, disrespectful, violent black kids. At one scene we apprehended as many as we could, called the parents then issued court citations to the kids and to the parents for their lack of supervision. We haven't had anything near that size brawl since. Hold the parents accountable.
