Greetings from Torrance! I have spent almost all of my life in Torrance. My kids went to all of the same schools as I did (Arlington,Casimir, and North High). Traffic is a little busier than 40 years ago, but the weather is always great. The one consistent in this area are the schools. People move here for the schools because of their reputation. Where we live, we are 2 miles from almost everything. Shopping, places to eat, parks, and are able to jump on 3 freeways to go anywhere. Wish I had a bigger, newer house, but we bought because of the neighborhood. My wife and I knew that our kids would be well educated, safe(as safe can be), and have good friends. BTW-the North Torrance East area that you drove thru is where I take my walks at night. Thanks for the video!

I think it will be helpful to people considering moving to the area and I agree that Torrance is a great place to raise a family and conveniently located! Affordability is also a big plus of the Torrance area when you compare to neighboring beach cities. Thanks again for watching and engaging!

Everyone is moving from California to Austin Texas / It's 1/2 price & no state income tax. You won't like it stay in Cali.!!!!

There are a lot of people moving from California to Texas! It is definitely more affordable too, but not for everyone. I lived in Texas for a year, but the weather was not my favorite :(
