Hi guy have even watching your videos and loving your educational Touring ones on Vietnam and it is now on my bucket list. Is it possible for a tourist to actually buy a bike in Vietnam if they say wanted to ride for 3 - 6 months there. Instead of just renting. Or is like thailand where purcalhasing you have to have residency?

You can buy a bike like the Honda XR 150 for around $1600 (we sell them). You can do Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia. But not Thailand.

@Tigitmotorbikes thanks guys for that info. And apologies for the atrocious spelling. Was on the fly. So even if you own the bike you can't go into Thailand WOW I guess they want the taxes. Vietnam has extended visas to 3 months now so it's definately on my bucket list for next year. I will stay in touch.

Is this the Dt112? Is it still in this state? Was planning on taking it with a Honda Winner X in mid Sept but not sure I'll manage it if that's the state of it for 100km ^^
