NORTH YORKSHIRE BROWN TROUT LURE FISHING - bait finesse

So hello everybody and welcome back.
As some of you will have noticed my videos haven't been as frequent as I would have liked. Unfortunately due to some unforeseen circumstances I was forced to move to North Yorkshire either permeant or temporary I'm not too sure yet.
But while I was up here I thought I may as well get out and do some fishing to take my mind of things
There's a lot of little streams and Becks up here that contain some beautiful trout so naturally that's what I wanted to target.
So with alot of trial and error and trying to break the code that's exactly what we did

Il never forget the rainbow trout I caught at 16 from bedale beck leads onto the river swale we have pike brown trout and rainbow and chubb where abouts in north Yorkshire are you from i know some beautiful spots on the river swale keep up the good work bro

Do you find the slow water better for lures than the faster water fly anglers would favour? Also I notice you fish upstream a lot, do you generally prefer that too?

The Outback UK what rating was it? I’ve got a a greys 0-5g spinning rod that I bought in 2005, before DS and UL kicked off in the UK. I’d be lost without it. At some point I will need to replace it but I’m dreading it. Any suggestions?

Love the northern accent, always reminds me of my friends in burnley when you "no" Been to the lake district several times but never really found any hot spots for fishing. May have to venture up your way for an extended weekend

First time bfs fishing yesterday went on the Chesterfield canal I lost 2 decent perch on the nimble could have done better if I knew what I was doing. So it's an alright place :)

I was 11 when I first fished the river leven ..... a great place on the leven was at the old cross keys pub back in the 80s ( leven bank near Yarm ) ...... happy days .... well done and when you go to great Ayton you just have to go to suggitts for an ice cream 🍦

Yeah 4lb would be perfect mate but with seaguar lines I go to 6lb just becasue you can as it's super thin

Awesome mate and I use anything from them mate I have the reel soft I have some in a red packet it's one of them companies I know I can get from and not be disappointed so I just type 6lb seaguar and buy whatever is on sale really
