Train Count: 6 engines + 95 cars pulled; great footage with the balloons attached to the memorial, it was quite a message without words needing to remind us the big picture here! It's a shame one false move can cost someone's life, it's sad some of us fail to understand that when there are people who risk their lives on purpose for serving our country and protecting our people yet our people get into fatal car accidents, they commit murders or they underestimate how fast a train goes! Also . . . Las Olas? . . . nice!

Thanks! It's actually just 4 engines, two sets of LNG fueled engines with a tank between them.

I found this upload to be offensive. You should exercise common sense in the future. Mr King died because of his stupidity. Not Brightline's fault given that the gates were down, the lights flashing and the train's driver soundding the locomotive horn.

In no way whatsoever did I imply that Brightline was, in any remote way, at fault. In fact if you read the description I state quite directly that Mr. King (and Ms. Lavell) went around/ducked under the crossing gates. I could not make it any clearer who was at fault. It is patently obvious. The Palm Beach Post printed a picture of grieving relatives on the front page, above the fold, and labeled Mr. King a "Brightline Train Victim". In another video I pointed out that when pedestrians or cars go around signals, it is the train that is the victim, not the pedestrian. However I have also pointed out on several occasions that when it comes down to widows and orphans vs big corporations, the widows and orphans get all the sympathy. A Boynton Beach city manager has called for Brightline service to be suspended "until safety questions can be answered". Legislation was introduced just a couple of days ago that would have an estimated cost to Brightline $350M. Railroad supporters must be aware that any fatalities are very bad for business, and that the public, and detractors in particular, will not distinguish who is at fault. I show the memorial at the site specifically to raise awareness of the perceptions that people have. I could pretend this does not exist, but that doesn't help anybody. I do not do commentary within videos on this channel.
