I was hoping they would have the graduation on the football field like at west point or the Air force academy or other schools around the U.S. Or have it at the speed way or in an arena, places with lots of seats, but big enough to allow social distancing. Places that permit an audience. Places where they can show your Pic on a 20 ft by 30 ft screen or something to that effect as you walk the stage. I had the idea in Feb. but I thought someone from N.E.I.S.D would be sage enough to pick up on the above solutions. And it's sad, very sad that none of those highly paid Ph.D's and MBA's from the the School district and High schools didn't come up with and explore these solutions. Everybody is suffering during this pandemic and we are all taking losses. We, in this district (and I don't pretend to talk for everyone)all were/are affected. I see Banks losing money, I see Mortgage Co's losing money, I see Landlords losing money, I see Businesses Losing money, EVERYBODY is suffering. Kids have been stuck at home since march, some didn't even receive a Lap top to continue their classes. There were no Sr. Outings. No Proms. NO ANYTHING. Which begs the question: Where did Our Property taxes go that fund just about EVERYTHING N.E.I.S.D does? Am I gonna get a refund? Because the personnel surely was not 100% involved, like when the kids physically go to school. The Facilities were not suppose to be used meaning that your Light bill and gas bill and maintenance bill were somewhat non-existent. I wonder who from N.E.I.S.D and how many teachers actually filed for unemployment; like 40 million others had to do? Just a thought. Sad, Sad, that THIS...this is the best you could do.
