Absolutely beautiful land. And I like that there are already some neighbors around. How far is it from stores/shops? And how is the internet access up there? I may have missed you checking the bars on your phone. The tracker map thing is cool..... I liked the tracking view as you go. I'm kinda looking for land but not sure what I am doing yet.... still figuring things out. There is a lot to learn about this stuff. Thanks for showing us the land, I always love your lil hikes on these properties. And all the cool things you come across.

Great to have you here and watching! It's not far to the MY T Fine Store just where Dry Creek Rd hits Hwy 299. It will take about 15 minutes. My phone works and you should be ablet to get satellite internet at the very least.

Looks nice - thanks for the tour! 🙂 Any POA/HOA/CCRs?
@MountainValleyRealEstate2 ай бұрын
Thanks for checking it out. Yes, there should be some CCRS and small yearly road maintenance fee.

John, I'm really curious why the previous owner left. Looks like the topography may be a bit of drag. As I mentioned before, I'm a gardener, so I wonder how much work the land would need to set up a decent garden or even a small farm. I'm picturing fruit trees galore and a goodly tract for all sorts of vegetables. I also plan to have a greenhouse.

The seller didn't live on the property. The property needs a septic and power to the home to live on the property.
@Rollie-px7tq25 күн бұрын
Tnx. What if I used a composting or incinerating toilet? I suppose the septic tank would be for just the black water? I'm gathering ideas on how to live up there in the rural or mountainous part of Redding and vicinity. It will be just a tiny home, likely on wheels, if I ever move from my present place. Being a grower, land is gold in my hands.

If you are looking to develop the property and do it with permits, you would need to check with the county building department about your ideas. Typically, a home needs to be on a permanent foundation.

Another Q, John: Can anyone interested in the property go there and check it out without the company of a real estate agent? This could be a dumb Q but had to ask-don't want to get in trouble...😉
@MountainValleyRealEstate19 күн бұрын
Yes, you can go check it out on your own. No problem. Do use the directions on my website, MountainValleyLand.com
