MIKE BLAKE Thanks for the comments and the sub! since this video it’s been pretty slow on the filming front on our part due to family commitments, work commitments, and also moving house whilst also dropping our syndicate ticket, but we have big plans for this year to release more content after rejoining a new ticket and having more fishing time now 👊🏻 - the plan is to film the new water from the very beginning and take you all with us!

Nice vid - you've captured the spirit of the lake really well. I fished Boom on my first visit to Redmill . . .found that using two rods close in produced more takes . . .its a tough peg if someones in Double as I think multiple lines in the water cut off patrol routes etc. Fishing pretty much the same spots the following year from Double with my LH rod (different line angles) with no one in Boom was a different story . . .I hauled all week (over 20 fish) and caught the Big Common . . .as well as a near 70 cat that bottomed my scales out. Got the baiting perfect and actually reeled in at night midweek to catch up on some well earned sleep . . . . .fantastic fishing.

Cracking video lads, very professional but I'm assuming it has been done in collaberation with Ideal Baits with proper cameras etc? I'm a bit of a Redmill veteran now having done my 5th year there back in early May this year. I've always been lucky catch wise but for the first time in those 5 years drew 1st choice this year....LC it was having never been able to get in previous years. It didnt dissapoint, 13 fish out inc two beautiful long commons of 39.02 and 40.02, big mirror of 51.03 plus 2 more 40+ mirrors and several other 30s. Last year i managed 12 from Double inc the big Common (never heard it called the Camp Common lol) at 51.10 and an absolutley fantastic common (still my most prized catch from Redmill) of 48.05 which was utterly mint and not a very well known fish, in fact Daron was quite surprised by it. Anyway, brilliant place and wonderful hosts in Daron & Yvonne who've become good friend to us Cornwall boys now :) back next year too!

Mark Bennett - Thanks for the kind words. The video was filmed and edited by ourselves. It was particularly difficult to fish and try to capture good quality footage at the same time. The common goes by a few names but officially it's named the campa common. We've had the pleasure of catching some unbelievable fish from Redmill over the last 4 years just unfortunately not as many this time around as previous years but our main aim was to attempt to promote the lake this year too. So hopefully we managed to do the venue justice. Stay lucky mate 👍🏻
