In this video we head to the Mountains of Mourne to climb Slieve Donard which is the Highest Peak in Northern Ireland. It was a great walk and we were treated to spectacular views from the top.

It's a tricky one as the Mourne Mountains are in Northern Ireland which (rightly or wrongly) is in the UK and people there can choose to be either British or Irish. I'd say it's in Ireland though :-)

@DeanRead
@DeanRead 6 жыл бұрын
Hi Colin, Thanks for watching. Really enjoyed the Mourne Mountains. We drank directly from the stream but I did have a water filter with me. Always carry a Sawyer Mini filter in my first aid kit just incase. I wouldn't drink lower down near the forest but higher up it was clear enough and fast moving over rocks. Couldn't see any dead animals up stream either. All was good :-)

Can't fault the Sawyer filters, been testing their new bottle system and its great. We used to drink unfiltered water all the time in our early twenties but I'm a bit more cautious now :-)
