Northern Italy - Galileo

During a trip to northern Italy, I traveled to three cities related to Galileo: Pisa, Florence, and Padua. In Pisa I checked out the Leaning Tower and "Galileo's Lantern" in Pisa Cathedral. I viewed Galileo's tomb in Florence. And I checked out his house and university in Padua. I took a few rabbit trails along the way, such as checking out an intriguing modern mural in Pisa and visiting today's math department at the University of Padua in the Tullio Levi-Civita Building.
