We got our video camera in December 1992, although we didn't take it to London. Wish we had done.

The 1959 and 1972mk1 stocks on the Northern line when I was a kid, fond memories. Both Clapham Common and North stations still have the island platforms. As the 59 stock arrives at Morden, the 1972mk1 stock train in the middle platform departs and heads to the depot.

In 1993 one train of 1959 tube stock was painted in LUL livery with a refreshed interior. Also in 1990 one unit was painted in heritage red livery to celebrate the Northern lines centenary complete with interior refresh as well, that was the last train of 1959 tube stock to run on Saturday 28th January 2000 marking the end of 2 person operation on the Underground.
