NORTHERN NAMIBIA | Episode 10/11

Episode 10/11: Kavango River - Divundu - Northern Namibia
This was our last few days at the river in Northern Namibia and we wanted to make most of it before we changed direction inland. I can not say it enough how much we enjoy the river up here. Amazing campsites and lodges if camping is not your thing, such diversity! River islands and wild life just makes it more welcoming and tranquil.
If you love bird watching and taking photos, you will be satisfied here.
We visited a few lodges while in the area. We found that stood out for us.
Shametu is just topping the list, with a homeopath, spa, awesome amenities, and many more. This lush green lodge will leave you feeling like you are on an island.
The other show stopper is White Sands! WOW what a campsite!! Located on the banks of the Popa Falls, this is a magnificent place. Campsites are private, own kitchen and bathroom. Each campsite has its own deck area looking over the rapids singing in your ears.
