I recently went on an EMT HST between Keighley and Grantham and going through Thackley Tunnel just before Apperley Bridge the ride was rotten, probably worse than a Pacer

Really? Would have thought riding the HST would be comfortable journey. Why was it a bad ride? Was there anything wrong with the train?

A coach was missing so it was operating in a 7 Coach Formation! Also the lights went out a few times. I have heard other complaints about EMT HST's on the ECML. On the same journey the Normal VTEC sets are fine
