Thanks for a really great video - so informative and enjoyable. The drone footage is fantastic (as usual) and fantastic for showcasing the beautiful countryside and magnificant castles. The close ups of the flowers, birds and insects just lovely too. The medieval town square of Bardejov reminded me of Tallinn - especially the old town hall in the middle of the large square . I really can't wait to pack my bags and visit Slovakia!

Orava Castle is the most beautiful castle in the world, in a beautiful environment and with nice people who live there. It's worth going there and seeing it for yourself.

Thank you Janus for this great video. All places are really worth visiting. Nice village with traditional houses. Amazing castle. The dracula castle doesn't look as scary as it's name:) The High Tatras with the enchanting blue lake and stunning view, that it's not any less beautiful than in Swiss Alp. I really enjoyed watching this long video multiple times, very impressive, informative and cinematic with brilliant drone shots ! The lovely music make this video like a real film 😍 The Outro with the photos are so cool. My love for Slovakia is getting bigger and bigger!!! Slovakia has sooo many beautiful places to explore. Did you visit all these in one day tour?

Geographically, Slovakia is Central Europe, not Eastern. Geographicall center of Europe is in Slovakia.

Thank you for watching. It’s actually quite difficult to find a unified opinion on this. When researching I found every organization with authority having different regional maps for Europe. And I understand several countries claim being the geographic center of Europe. But none of this takes away from the beauty of Slovakia 🇸🇰😊

J, you know how I feel about your Switzerland work,but this by far is your best yet. How interesting and so informative. This is something that everyone who is planning to travel should watch. Luckily you tracked down the lady to let you in the church. I know you couldn't find her in the past. I would go to the country just to visit this small chapel. Slovakia (also Czechia) is geographically Central Europe, the eastern Europe is only Ukraine, the neighbouring country of Slovakia. Slovakia, then still Czechoslovakia, was part of the Eastern Bloc of the Soviet Union after World War II, along with the Polish Baltic States, the Balkans and half of Germany, including half of Berlin. Slovakia was never eastern Europe if at most part of the Eastern Bloc of the USSR but still geographically it was and is central Europe.

I agree, I should have said Eastern Central Europe. Having said that, I think people in Ohio would shrug off being placed on the East coast while I’m surprised to learn that being part of Eastern Europe seems to somehow be a bad thing for many people.
