most people that were good at stomping in my time haven't put there moves up on you tube I have put as many as I remember from memory in varying order of combos to give people variety good luck

I recommend a flat soled trainer no bumps or ridges on the bottom some have a spin ball area on the sole don't get anything expensive they will ware out quickly all mine are ruined also rubber is a bit sticky to some people use leather soles but if you do you can spin of balance and fall to slidey for me

finding a good pair of shoes with the right combination aint easy..i was looking for a decent pair brogues with leather soles..but you feel they may be too slippy?

+Hanns G your shoes might do but I also find they make tick tack sound when you dance if the music isn't loud enough you can hear your own feet it took me a long time to get my foot ware right you need slidy shoes for dirty floors and a slightly sticky shoes for polished floors

about learning dances from scratch as you said earlier when you watched a person dancing you had to pick the moves up first time there was no way of recording them

when I mean the basics tutorial1 work my way up to 7 first northan soul weekend not till nxt October so plenty of time to crack it

Joe what footwear do you recommend for the clubs? Obviously, trainers are a no no in most places.

you will need a shoe for clubs your brogues Will work there plenty of noise some floors will be sticky watch out for spilt drinks because stomping is sliding you can fall good luck
