Not gonna lie. Thanks for having Oliver rep for the Asians. I've followed Ted Takasaki for a long time. I first seen him with Babe Winkleman back in the day on Winkleman's television show. Pretty cool to see someone else, cause I know how much Asian's love to fish and hunt.

Had to pause it just to say how excited I am to watch this right now. I love this series! I love that you guys are roaming the Midwest - my old stomping grounds. I love Steve’s commentary and his passion for hunting, fishing, and conservation. I PRAY that as outdoorsmen we can foster a new and better generation of outdoorsmen to take our place in the water and woods. Thanks for the videos!!!

I really enjoy this series, but I'd like 2 see 2 additions to it. First, I'd like to see the final episode be Steve reuniting with the boat and enjoying the upgrades and reminiscing about that boat and others he's fished out of growing up. Second, I'd like to see the final wrap up of the series being a giveaway of the boat to someone between 16 and 20 or there abouts to encourage the next generation of anglers.

Fun! I am super impressed that you got a musky to eat a bait, self guided, on completely new water. I am familiar with the area you were fishing and I know there are lots of lakes to target muskies there. Even some lakes that are considered "action" lakes. It's still cool to pull it off on a schedule, on film in a heat wave. I am also a huge fan of the mighty bluegill! Good episode!

This brings me back to fishing the Darbonne in northern Louisiana for bluegill, bream and sunfish during the summer with my cousins and grandpa! We’d set out trot lines in the morning then work our way back to the landing, come out and do it again the next day. Some of the most fond memories of my childhood are in that 16 ft aluminum boat fishing lakes, rivers, reservoirs and even flooded fields then coming back home to pack em into the freezer and frying up what we wanted for dinner that night. Great times!

Pro Tip: Natural casing beef franks and a couple big treble hooks - warm them in the microwave, slit the cases, and go fish. Never had success with lures, but caught a 48" 'tiger' muskie with the franks. Also work for bluegills in smaller bits.
