Loving the videos folks. The wife and I spotted you in the motorhome show in Glasgow but lost you in the crowd :) The signs on the front of the bookshop aren't Gaelic, they're Doric which is another Scottish dialect spoken mostly in the north and north east coast of Scotland. Id's a foosum day means "It's a bad day" Scorries cownin for a pucklie rain" means "the seagulls are waiting for a bit of rain". Lastly, "Gies a sail in yer hurley" roughly means "Can I have a sail in your boat?

❤You have had a rough time in the North of Scotland the weather as you have found out can be dangerous for Motor homers.The best time to travel up North is early September. Little Cheeco running around the car park he is gorgeous. Then Mark sticking him through the sunroof to look for Nessie😂 See you all soon Lovelies❤

Hi. Love your life journey. One question regarding heating in your motorhome, you say you use a 'diesel' heater and leave this on when you are away from the van to keep Chicco warm. What is a diesel heater and how does it work? God Bless and keep safe!

2 minutes walk from the lorry park at Thurso. There is a great chippy. Big fish, Little fish. I have been there twice, when I have stayed in my van, in Thurso. Probably the most northern chip shop on mainland UK. As for campervan service points. Falls of shinn is the place to go. New campervan service area, waste disposal point, with parking in the forest. With forest and river walks. Between Lairg and Bonar bridge.

Just watched a vid on the isle of Arran lol hat has seals. You get there by ferry and it’s small and you can go to another part of Scotland on a ferry from the other side. Thought of you two when I saw it and the seals. You were so excited to see them.

Great video, just looking at getting a van ourselves now we've retired. Looks like we are in the older end of the market as the newer ones are too much for us. Well known KZbin couple just spent over 2k on their van heater which shocked us. Wondering if we can do it what with fuel and site fees tbh. You two seem good at keeping it under control

Loved the headband Mark 😂. We certainly got hit by the double whammy of storms within a couple of days of each other. The words on the wall of the book shop is Scots not Gaelic, hubby says it’s most probably Doric with you being up that way. Poor Chico, really felt for him. Fish suppers.. you don’t always get two fish but you do get lots of chips. We normally get one fish supper then I will have a single sausage, share chips. Loch Ness area is so beautiful, I don’t care what these so called experts say Nessie is in there somewhere 😊. Safe travels xx

You chose right coming down the south side of Loch Ness - an awesome drive - I have taking my caravan to Loch Ness shores caravan park on that side of the loch- great wee site. The log you saw was maybe the stick Nessie plays with and you missed her fetching it 😉

Last time i went to scotland in our motohome was in the month of june , it was cold and wet , plus mossies everywhere. I remember walking on the beaches in wellingtons and over coats , and heating a must.
