Egg forgot how to read. Detonator doesn't double and I took a shot every time he made that mistake. I'm dying Egg.

No, he knew what it did, you just misunderstood. It doesn't double the amount of poison, but it does effectively double the amount of poison damage they'll take that turn. If they have 8 poison and you detonate they'll take 16 damage from poison that turn instead of 8, for example.

In my limited experience, Bump is the single best card for Jester. It increases damage for most cards, it swaps evens and odds, and in the case of a 6 it adds dice. I can't think of any reason ever to turn it down.

it hurt there for a while, its even better then cycle because a 6 becomes a 6 and 1, which you know is more cards played

if it's just cycle and doesn't do anything else (do nothing, return the die) it wouldn't be bad, but it also wouldn't be good. It would do nothing at all.

Jester is just like slay the spire. It even has -Detonate- Catalyst in its poison deck.

Boops are good for the snap, and bumps are great to get new dice! Put a 6 in it and you get a six and extra one, put that on in juggling ball and now you have an extra usable die! That's how you could multiply your dice. And you know what... Egg knew that from all the way back in the warrior run.

If you upgrade the boops, you get dice back. Snapping boop+ give free dice.

If you never play as the Jester you never won but you still never lost either, it's a 100% win rate!

Aren't bumps literally free cards to play? You draw a card after playing it and get a dice value that you know. Doesn't seem like there's a reason not to take it. Edit: He realised the value

to answer a question the value of bump is that if you put a 6 in it will give you a 6 and a 1 meaning you can activate your mins and if you snap it it will automatially put 6s in giving you 4 dice for free helping you get through your deck i actually died a bit when he left bump

Enel, bump is a free card, costs no dice, 1/6 times gives you a free dice to use and more times than not it doesn't matter if its a higher value

You should consider upgrading boops instead of destroying as they return your dice upgraded meaning free damage 4 times every turn in a small deck not to mention that if you snap a card that returns a dice you get extra dice so snapping 2 upgraded boops is 4 damage and 2 extra dice to use elsewhere for absolutely free

I actually advocate getting rid of Bops over Boops - they're harder to use for only one more damage and the upgrade card on Boops gives you the die back, getting through the deck faster

This is the third time I'm writing this because doing so on my tablet was all f'd up for some reason but you're absolutely right. Boop>Bop. Baer won his second Jester run ever by yeeting Bops and upgrading boop. He DESTROYED the endgame.

Actually Bump is the best equipment ever on jester. Not only it allows you to have an additional dice on a 6 and change parity, but if you activate it with the limit break it gives you two 6s and two 1s for free.

The plays this egg does xD 32:00 has 2 even dice, 11 posion on enemy, one det in hand and one on deck. Uses Det and then a fucking boop.. Missed the 11 damage for 2 xD great stuff hahaha

Surprisingly enough I find myself deleting bops more than boops in deck. Upgraded Boop returns your dice back which means more cycle and free damage, as well as more uses for finale card. Not to mention boop easier to activate.

The one run I’ve had with the Jester I was doing fantastically with a shield bashing build..till the boss I had to fight was the shield bashing boss that was the perfect counter fml XD
