60 seconds lets you ignore the fact that going several days without water/food completely disables you from expeditioning to gather water/food. This game does not ignore that and instead makes you watch two dehydrated/starving people slowly die.

My favourite thing is that you starve to death after like 4 days of not having food. If you - who I presume are a non-malnourished, physically well person - were to stop eating right now there's no way you'd be dead within a week. No water? Sure, that'll get you in a few days, but you can go a pretty long time without food without just keeling over and dying. Also I can attest first hand that getting 8 hours of sleep in a day is more than enough to keep you functional but maybe I'm just superman.

While there is a certain comedic charm in this game, the gameplay itself seems difficult for all the wrong reasons. Granted NL isn't the type of player to perfectly min-max, let alone on the first try, the frequency with which he spawned with adjacent tiles that held neither food nor water is just too high. Plus characters just getting fatigued within a single day and then being completely unable to do things, the random chance to fail on expeditions and then being stuck in a loop of cleanliness going down the drain because you have no water to use soap and no character being able to use the broom to clean up, if one even has a broom. Nevermind random events you can't possibly beat when you get them, like last video when NL got attacked by raiders with 80 power and just died. Or the wild animal which pretty much would've been a death sentence had he had less characters. You're just getting randomly punished with no conceivable way of avoiding things. The only real option I see is to game the system by having fodder runs where you try to farm specific resources which you then take into the next life but that seems like a very much dissatisfying gameplay loop, since it's basically just resetting until you get a run that works and only if you stocked up on all the necessary resources beforehand.

The failed expedition isn't a total failure (somehow, the game isn't *that* mean :'D), you just don't know the cards and have a chance to get trash. The issue is more that there isn't more choice for completed expeditions

This game reminds me of one of those old Give Yourself Goosebumps books where you get to choose three items before going into a haunted house. I remember being so mad after running into a giant spider that needed the niche as hell bug spray that I didn't bring, leaving the baseball bat that I did bring useless lol.
