Honey mustard pretzels, ranch Doritos, bbq lays are 3 others. Ritz and Stacey’s, are the only predominantly salty flavor profiles in the top 15, and putting Stacey’s anywhere above D tier is a terrible take to begin with. I think it’s fair to say his preference is for cheesy, not salty. Ruffles, lays, original Sun chips, original pretzels, pringles, bugles, Fritos, Tostitos… all deliciously salty, getting insufficient love.

I have to say, NL’s take on beef jerky was probably word-for-word what I’d say. I had the smallest phase when I was eating protein to get my macros and thought beef jerky would be the perfect snack to fill the crave void and man that weighs on the wallet real fast. I did even the smallest amount of number crunching on protein per dollar and just realized… yeah… it’s not worth it. Just scoop the whey and be done with it. That and my sodium intake was indeed hurting. That said it’s still damn tasty…

@@geckogeico2212 I definitely don’t think you can substitute whey for real food. It’s just for that bit of top-off. When I was eating for macros I’d just use it to supplement my protein intake throughout the day without going crazy off the charts with sodium or fat or something. Even as a big meat eater I feel like I can’t justify jerky as go-to snack. If it were cheaper and lower sodium I’d probably straight up just be addicted though.

Gardettos are the best snack. They’re basically Chex mix, made by the same company that makes Chex mix, but not shitty like Chex mix. Other S-tier snacks are those welsh’s fruit snacks and Snyder’s buffalo pretzel chunks. F tier snacks are cheese combos, snyders onion pretzel chunks, and plain saltines.

Anybody else think most flavored Pringles seem kinda old/stale these days? They're not full-on stale, but the texture and flavor isn't as good. Every once in a while, you get some that are super fresh and you can really tell the difference. Seems like original are generally fresher.
